"Are you going to drive, baby?" Yoongi asked.
"Yes, why?" Jungkook questioned.
Yoongi smiled mischievously, his mind already concocting a plan. "I wanna drive today. Please?" His voice softened, knowing Jungkook wouldn't easily refuse.
"Alright." Jungkook handed over the key, yielding to Yoongi's request.
Yoongi eagerly settled into the driver's seat, but before Jungkook could open the passenger side door, Yoongi stopped him. Confusion flickered in Jungkook's eyes.
"What, Hyung?" he asked.
"Can you sit behind, with Taehyung?" Yoongi's request took Jungkook by surprise, and he glanced at Taehyung, who sported a small smirk. Rolling his eyes, Jungkook protested, "I can sit beside you-"
"Oh, baby, please? You know I can't drive if someone sits beside me," Yoongi pleaded, tugging at Jungkook's heartstrings.
"I never knew-" Jungkook started, but Yoongi interrupted, "Oh, you didn't see me in five years, you know! My habits have changed."
Jungkook sighed, realizing there were no other options. Reluctantly, he nodded. As he reached for the door, Taehyung swooped in, opening it for him like a gentleman. Jungkook shot him a glare.
"God gave me two hands; I can do it myself," Jungkook retorted.
"Why bother with those beautiful, delicate hands of yours when I can do it for you, baby?" Taehyung's smile was teasing.
Rolling his eyes again, Jungkook sat, and Taehyung closed the door before taking his seat.
With less than a 2-inch gap between them, Yoongi exclaimed, "Let's go, guys!" before driving off.
The atmosphere inside the car was awkward, with no one saying anything. Jungkook stared out the window, while Taehyung admired him, noticing every subtle movement.
"How is your study going, Kook?" Yoongi broke the silence, drawing Jungkook's attention.
"Pretty good," Jungkook replied.
Yoongi then turned the conversation to himself, "How about you, Hyung? For how many days are you going to stay in Korea?"
"I don't know, but I'm not going back soon. I came here after five years, so let me enjoy my motherland," Yoongi replied, a hint of nostalgia in his voice.
Jungkook smiled at him before turning to Taehyung. "How about you?"
"I'm not going back until I complete my mission," Taehyung stated cryptically.
