Rain POV:

Today was my first day at my new school.
I was on my way to the principal’s office to collect my schedule when I bumped into someone.

When I looked up, I froze.

He had beautiful yet cold eyes, high cheekbones, perfect kissable lips, and his hair was tied in a bun. The only word that came to my mind was “Greek god.”

He blinked a few times, just staring at me, and that’s when I realized—I’d been staring at him too. Without blinking. The sudden embarrassment shot through me like an electric current.

Rain: “I–I’m sorry!”
I could feel my cheeks burning as he kept looking at me.

And without saying a word, he walked away.

I stood there, confused about what had just happened, but thankful that my Greek god didn’t cause any trouble.
Getting in trouble on my first day at a new school definitely wouldn’t make a good impression.

The bell rang, pulling me back to my senses. I quickly grabbed my schedule and ran to my class.

When I entered, the teacher was already there.
Wow, Rain. First day and you’re already late, I scolded myself silently.

Everyone’s eyes turned toward me as I stepped inside.

Teacher: “Who are you?”

Rain: “Swadi ka, my name is Rain. I’m from South Korea. Please take care of me.”

I smiled at the class—but then froze when I saw him.
My Greek god was sitting there. In my class.
My face instantly heated up as I remembered our earlier encounter.

Teacher: “Rain, it’s your first day, so I’ll let it go this time. But don’t be late again, okay?”

Rain: “Yes, sir. It won’t happen again.”

Teacher: “Good. You can sit wherever you want.”

I looked around and noticed only one empty seat—right beside him.

Of course.

As I walked toward the seat, I felt his eyes on me. My heart started beating faster.
Is there something on my face? I wondered as I sat down.

When I turned to introduce myself again, he turned his head away.

I’d be lying if I said that didn’t sting a little. But maybe he’s just shy… or an introvert? Maybe I made him uncomfortable.

No worries, Rain. There’ll be more chances to talk later. For now, focus on the class, I told myself.

Still, I couldn’t ignore the strange feeling that someone was staring at me again. When I turned, I caught him looking—again. The moment our eyes met, he quickly looked away.

He’s weird, I thought, trying not to smile.

The rest of the class went by like that—quiet, tense, and weirdly interesting.

Time skip — Lunch Break

I was wandering around, trying to find a place to sit, when I saw two boys eating together.

Rain: “Mind if I sit here?”

They both looked at me, then at each other—as if they were communicating telepathically—before nodding.

The one with glasses spoke first.
???: “You’re the new kid, right?”

Rain: “Yeah. My name’s Rain.”

Sky: “I’m Sky, and this is First.”

First: “So, Rain, tell us about yourself.”

And just like that, I made my first friends.
Sky was funny and sassy, and First had this calm but mysterious vibe.

Honestly, my first day wasn’t that bad after all.

Still… every time I glanced at my seatmate, I couldn’t help wondering who he really was—and why I couldn’t get him out of my head.
