How you meet:
You were playing darts at a carnival booth. And a monochrome clown looked at you, looking impressed. Weird thing was, he had a cone nose with black and white swirls in it. You shot your last dart but missed the balloon. Instead, you shot the dart at the clown.
'Ow!' The clown shrieked,grasping his arms.
'Oh!' You said. 'Im so sorry!' You ran close to the clown and looked at his arm.
'Yeah. Its okay.' The clown said. 'Its just...' He took the dart out of his arm. 'Ugh.. a small thing.'
'O-okay.' You said. 'Is there anything i could do to make it up to you?'
'No thanks.' The clown smiled. 'What's your name?'
'(Y/N). Yours?'
'Jack.' He held out a hand. 'Laughing Jack.'
You took his hand and shook it. 'Nice meeting you.'
'You too.' He smiled. 'Sooo.. Do you wanna hang for a while?'
'Sure!' You said. He gave you cotton candy. Dont ask where it came from.
You both introduced yourselves and told about your yourselves and yada yada. You both became good friends.
When you hang out and become love birds:
LJ decided to take you to his own abandoned carnival and you happily obliged.
You both shared cotton candies and did fun stuff. And at the end of the day, you both went to a ferris wheel. Course, you were terrified of heights, but LJ's there right? So, what could be the problem?
The ferris wheel moved until you both halted to a stop at the very top. #RHYMED
'LJ?' You said, gripping the bars tightly.
'Oh shit.' LJ said. 'I think the controls are jammed.'
'What?!' You panicked and hyperventilated.
LJ laughed. 'I was kidding!' And he slightly bumped your shoulder. 'You shouldve seen your face!' He laughed.
'Right..' You grumbled.
'Aww.' He booped your nose. 'Youre so cute when youre mad. C'mere.' As he pulled you into his arms.
You smiled and then you watched the sun set. Secretly dozing off as you felt you loved the one and only hilarious yet slightly annoying clown. Eh, well,love has no limits. ;)
When he asks you + First kiss:
You both decided to meet up at LJ's carnival, as always.
You entered the carnival with an eerie silence. You pushed through the rusted gates.
'LJ?' You walked into the carnival. It was pretty late so you got a bit scared.
'Laughing Jack?' You said.
And in the middle of the carnival, you saw candles set and lit up in a heart shape. Rose petals scraping against the earthly ground. And the one and only thing that made you smile was: LJ standing in the middle of the candles, smiling as well, and his arms out stretched.
You drew closer and held his hands.
'What is this?' You asked as you giggled.
'Uhm..(Y/N)?' He said.
'Yes?' You looked into his eyes, making him look at you in awe.
'Uhm.. I love you.. With all my heart. Youre more sweeter than any candy. Poisoned or not...'
