The Moonlit hospital looked eerie as I walked through the dimly lit hallways finding my way to a bathroom. Strange that I didn't have my own...

I finally reached a bathroom stall and did my business. As I was washing my hands I looked in the mirror, I looked horrible. I looked bare, like skin and bones. But wasn't this what I wanted all along?

My thoughts were interrupted by a hushed voice whispering in my ear.
"Remember me."

For a split second I saw a tall shadow figure in the mirror standing next to me, I wasn't scared. This person seemed familiar, so familiar that I felt my heart race.

The way back to my room felt longer than the way to the bathroom, it felt as though the Hallway was getting longer and longer but I could see someone at my door.

"Hey! Hey! Who are you?!"
I ran towards my room, the pain of my wound suddenly striking me like the time it was caused.
"Hey, are you ok?"

"Are you ok?"

"Are you-"

My eyes fluttered open. I was drenched in sweat.

"Are you ok?"
A worried nurse was looming over me. My heart was still racing but I didn't know why.

"I think I had a nightmare."
She nodded and sat down on the chair next to my bed.

"It's time to take your meds...That's why I woke you up but you kinda scared me."

I looked at her with a confused expression. I felt out of breath, as if I was just running. I know I just had a dream but..as soon as I woke up it was gone. Except the boy...

The nurse gave me my medicine and breakfast. I was eating it as I watched the TV, desperately trying to remember what happened. That's when I remembered a call from a few days ago.

"Dumont?"
I normally don't pick up unknown numbers but I was lonely...

"Hey there, you know Bill?"
That voice... Another guy from the radio!

"Are you the guy from the radio?"
A chuckle was heard from the other line, followed by a muffled other voice before the guy continued.

"I suppose you could say that but do you remember Bill?"
Why is everyone going on and on about this Bill? He said he had the wrong room!

"No, but there was a random guy at my hospital room today with that name... Although he did say he had the wrong room."
There was a moment of silence before there was muffled bickering heard from the other line. I couldn't make out exactly what they were saying but I heard my name.

"How do you know my name?"
Silence. Apparently I had shushed them successfully.

"Well we're friends!"

"We are?"

The guy never said his name but he was dead set on us being friends. What a weird guy, probably had the wrong number.

It was the afternoon when I was listening to the radio again. The music made me want to dance but the pain didn't let me. At least I had managed to sit up. I was upset that I couldn't dance, I wanted to do something. After all I had so much time anyway...

A few moments later I was sitting on the edge of my bed. Of course my wound hurt like hell but I was determined. My nurse would've probably panicked but I was alone so it's worth a try...right?

It was as if the music guided me and following the rhythm of it I stood up.

"We die when love is dead..."

I fell back onto the bed immediately which was to be expected and the pain was even worse than before but... I was prod of myself. I stood on my two feet for the first time in a month or more. Though I didn't even really get to enjoy the feeling.

✰𝐴/𝑁:Hi! This is a short one but I've been sick for six days and currently wanna rip my hair out because of school so you'll probably have to wait about two weeks for the next long chapter. I'm really sorry guys!!!
