My brother dialed the number on his flip phone. To be honest I would've liked to call her myself but something was holding me back... I know it's better for her to regain her memory by herself. Forcing myself into her life again is the wrong move but if Tom calls her right now she won't remember him either I'm sure."You think she'll pick up?"
He had a cheeky smile on his face, as if this was going to be a prank call. I looked to the side unsure.
"I don't think so... she never picks up unknown numbers.."
With every bing of the phone I got more and more nervous, would she pick up?
"Dumont?"
"Told ya"
My brother smirked at me proudly and I just rolled my eyes. He started talking to her, I almost got the feeling he was trying to charm her or something which just made me more annoyed. They speak for a bit as I listen in, Tom put her on speaker so I heard everything with him. The conversation came to a halt as she mentioned my visit to her hospital.
"I suppose you could say that but do you remember Bill?"
Tom asked full of anticipation for her answer. I just shook my head, does he think I haven't tried that yet?
"No, but there was a random guy at my hospital room today with that name... Although he did say he had the wrong room."
Tom turned to me with that face. The face he makes when he's disappointed and angry.
"Are you kidding me?"
I looked away, embarrassed I wasn't able to truly talk to her. There was just something holding me back from telling her...
"We had agreed you'd tell her who you are and all that!"
Tom was really disappointed. I didn't want to fight right now but we ended up bickering anyway.
"I just... I think it would be better if she regains her memory on her own! It's better for her to relive the moments instead of just being told about them, don't you think?"
Tom sighed and shook his head. He had calmed a bit, he scratched his forehead a bit and looked me straight in the eyes.
"Bill listen, we don't have all the time in the world. We're still on tour and if you want Luna to at least know-"
"How do you know my name?"
We heard her voice through the little flip phone on Tom's lap. I had almost forgotten we were still on call I'd figured she'd just hung up.
Tom tried his best to explain but to no avail, so we decided to go with my plan. As soon as she was able to leave the hospital we would make her relive the memories we'd made together.
I'd bring her to all the places we spent time together and maybe help her jog her memory a bit.
"That's a good plan I guess but the whole band is coming. She's friends with all of us after all."
Tom was dead set on this but I was hesitant.
"I don't think that's a good idea, she could be overwhelmed and not even be focused enough to remember anything."
Tom sighed a bit in defeat."Good point."
It's settled then, three weeks from now we'll go down memory lane.

𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐚'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕My nurse was telling me one of her stories again as I ate at the hospital cafeteria. I was finally able to walk, with crutches through. At least I don't need a wheelchair anymore.
She was talking about how she met her husband. She was an older woman but unbelievably kind. I was zoned out a bit as I looked at my full plate of food, lacking the hunger for it.
Ever since that day I had lost my appetite. Seeing flashes of my wound, the other wounded around me, it haunted me.
"Luna? Are you ok? You haven't touched your food at all."
She looked disappointed, it saddened me seeing how she looked at me but I just couldn't bring myself to eat. I was the skinniest I had ever been in my life. My dream turned to nightmare.
"Please Luna, I want you to get healthy fast."
She had sorrow in her eyes and a tear rolled down my cheek as I slowly picked up the small burger off my plate and took a bite. It tasted good, almost amazing as I had barely eaten anything in so long but the texture just brought back those pictures.
Just as I took my second bite I saw a guy walk into the hospital. Tall, black hair with black eyeshadow. It was Bill again. But this time he was accompanied by a boy with a cap on and a ponytail of dreadlocks. They looked eerily familiar... Not just because one of them visited me already but something else. A sense of home when I saw them, as if they played a big role in my life though I had zero recollection of them.
"Can I go over there Mrs. Jane?"
My nurse chuckled and nodded.
"I told you to just call me Jane but alright. Do you need help?"
I shook my head I was determined to make this on my own.
I slowly crutched my way over to the reception of the hospital where the two boys were talking to the woman there.
I slowly approached them, making barely any noise only a few grunts at how slow I was but they didn't notice me at all.
I finally reached the counter and leaned on it to take a quick breath. I was right next to Bill, apparently his field of vision was blocked by his hair since he hadn't seen me which made me chuckle a bit.
They both stopped dead in their tracks as they heard me chuckle. I felt almost like the villain in a horror movie as they slowly turned their heads with faces as white as if they had seen a ghost.
