𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒐𝒇 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆

𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

We rushed to the reception again, hoping today would be the day she'd finally recognize me again.

"Please I was here before."
I pleaded with the lady at the reception hoping she'd let me visit just one more time.

Tom continued arguing as we heard a chuckle. Her chuckle. We both froze and turned our heads in the direction it was coming from.

With wide eyes I looked at her, my brother's mouth agape.

"Luna! Oh my god you-"

My words were cut off by a big hug. It was warm and comforting almost like before the accident... I hugged her back tightly, not wanting this feeling to stop though she pulled away and looked at me with that same look.
That look of 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆.

𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐚'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

They both turned their heads and tge unfamiliar boys mouth was wide open as if he'd just seen a miracle happen before his eyes.

Something pulled me towards Bill and I hugged him tight. Lost in his embrace, something washed over me, a tingling sensation. Suddenly there were memories flashing through my mind...memories of us. I felt safe as we hugged, it could've went on for an eternity but I wanted to see him. To see his gorgeous eyes just as I remembered them. As we looked into each other's eyes I felt that tingling sensation again and couldn't help but smile.

"Bill..."

"Yes! What is it? Talk to me!"

He responded eagerly, not being able to contain his excitement. He was probably guessing what I was about to say, I could tell by the look in his eyes.

"I remember now.."

"Yes! Yes!"

He burst out in tears as he kept telling me how proud he was and how much he'd missed me while hugging me tight. There were tears welling up in my eyes as well as I remembered everything, everyone, even the unfamiliar person now with a proud expression on his face.

"Tom!"

I exclaimed as I remembered his name and looked at him with teary eyes, still hugging Bill. Bill wiped his tears as he let out a chuckle and so did Tom.

"Yes, that's Tom, my brother!"

In that moment it felt like we were alone in the hospital lobby, surrounded by memories of our short but sweet time together.

"I don't want to lose you ever again."

Bill said, worry visible in his expression and I gave him a warm smile.

"It's ok Bill, I'm here now."

𝑨 𝒍𝒐𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓
We were now sat at the cafeteria withe Jane, a strong hunger overcame me as I smelled the food and started eating my burger which almost made Jane cry of joy.

"Thank you"

She said to Bill and Tom who looked a bit confused but smiled anyway.

"When will she be discharged?"

Tom perked up and asked the question lingering on everyone's mind.

"It's unclear but after seeing her improvements it'll probably be in one or two weeks. She'll need physical therapy though."

Bill lowered his head. It was obvious that I wouldn't miraculously go back to normal as soon as I left the hospital but seeing me walk gave him a lot of hope.

"I'll be waiting for you, always."

𝑨 / 𝑵✰ : Ok it's been really long and I was ready to just give up on the book but I got a random shot of motivation right now and had to write it down. I know this chapter is probably boring and really short but I've had A LOT of stress recently and it's because of my teachers I hate them sm omg.
