As Nobita reached home, he couldn't help but smile at the fact that he just told Dekisugi how he felt, even if that wasn't exactly what he had interpreted in his mind.
Walking back home with him filled his heart with a sense of comfort, which he loved.
"I'm back!"
Nobita said, smiling widely.
"NOBITA! How was your test? Did you do well this time? Or is it exactly how it was before? Have you changed? Come on! Show me your paper!"
Nobita's mother snatched the paper from his hand.
"Okay- Okay mom, calm down. See for yourself, geez!"
"..."
His mother was silent.
"Nobita... Are you sure this is your paper? Did you steal someone else's?"
She questioned.
"What- no! Why would I do that on the first place? It has my name written on top of it!"
Nobita replied.
"I- I don't... Believe it... Nobita Nobi, a n-ninety seven...?"
"Yes!"
Nobita replied.
"I... I can't see properly, what's with the blurry images... Nobita, I- I feel dizzy..."
His mother fell down with a thud.
"Mom! Hey! Doraemon!!! Mom fell down, help me!"
Nobita called out.
"What!?"
Doraemon rushed downstairs.
"How?"
He asked.
"I got a ninety seven..."
"WHAT!"
Doraemon shouted out.
Nobita let out a sigh.

Minutes later:
"You did amazing Nobita! I'm going to frame this paper and hang it on the wall of our living room!"
Nobita's mother said, after she gained consciousness again.
"I'm also making your favourite food for dinner!"
She kissed his forehead and ran to the kitchen, humming softly.
"You've really changed Nobita... And for the better!"
Doraemon smiled.
"Thanks..."
Nobita said as went upstairs, followed by Doraemon.
Is he really in love with Dekisugi...? This really took an unexpected turn, huh? I never thought this would happen... Should I check on him when he's going to school tomorrow? No, I don't think so, that'll be too much. I should let time decide what happens.
Doraemon thought.

It was the next day and Nobita got up early again.
"I'm leaving!"
He walks out.
"Take care!"
On his way to school, Nobita meets Gian and Suneo.
"Good morning guys!"
He wishes, smiling sweetly towards them.
The audacity!?
Suneo thought.
Gian grabs Nobita by his collar.
"Don't you dare act innocent now Nobita. You must've taken the help of Dekisugi to score so well!"
He said.
"Wait, what!? No... I worked hard for it, y-you have a misunderstanding!"
Nobita replied.
"Shut up! After you've become friends with Dekisugi, you've really thought we'd leave you alone?"
Suneo said.
"No one's here to save you now."
"But won't we be late to school then?"
Nobita asked.
"Y-Yeah... You've got a point. We'll see you after class!"
