There are two diseases that you will need to know about and I'll explain them here.
First, there is HFHS otherwise known as Hypet Feral Heat Syndrom.
HFHS is a moderate to rare disease that affects the reproductive system of male Omegas Betas and Ovulating Alphas. This disease is known to cause pain in the womb and the scale of the pain can vary from one to fifteen with fifteen being the most painful. But HFHS can also cause extreme arousal as well meaning the cryptid born with this disease can either feel pain or grow easily aroused depending on his hormones. HFHS can also affect the blood as well, while in the heat a male cryptid will lose more blood than a cryptid without HFHS and their heat cycles will also be very unpredictable. Over 25% of Omegas have HFHS 15% of Betas will have it and 10% of Ovulating Alphas will have it. This disease is purely genetic meaning if they have it the pup will most likely have it as well.
The second disease is known as IFHS or Irritable Feral Heat Syndrom.
IFHS is also a moderate to rare disease that affects the mood and mind of male cryptids. IFHS can cause severe mood swings during times of heat in cryptids and it consists of two major emotions, uncontrollable anger or extreme depression and sadness. IFHS can also cause easy arousal in cryptids as well as pain but the pain is significantly less than in HFHS, as far as doctors know it mostly affects the moods of cryptids and has less to do with the reproductive system itself. Lesser known emotions known to be affected by IFHS are emotions like extreme excitement along with excessive worry or fear. It mostly affects Anger Depression and arousal though. Now 25% of Omegas have IFHS 15% of Betas will have it and 10% of Ovulating Alphas will have it.
