LILY'S POV

"You're finally here, I thought you wouldn't arrive again" Max told me as soon as I arrived in front of his box

"Um, sorry, I had an unexpected event, but I'm here now" I replied as soon as I greeted him

"Why? What happened?" he asked me

"Um.."

"Well guys, you've already arrived, come on, let's go to my studio, in addition to talking about the race, I have to give you some information on some collaborations with sponsors that we have to do" Horner told us, interrupting us and saving me, I don't know what I would have invented.

We followed Horner into his study, and sat next to Checo and Bird.

"Well, now that we're all here, we can start, as you well know, today we start from pole, and obviously we have to give our best, because we have the Ferraris and Mclarens close to us, who, even if slightly, are gradually improving" Horner said

"Ok, as usual we will give our best" Max replied

"I had no doubts, however, before letting you go I just wanted to let you know that in a few weeks we will have an advertisement to do for a sponsor, and for this, we should go to record it in the mountains, therefore, since it will be recorded during the break period winter, you can also relax a bit there"

"Perfect, where would it be registered?" Checo asked

"They will record it in Italy, more specifically in Courmayer, as it is the best place for winter in Italy" Horner explained to us

"That's nice, so we would also have some time to ski, I was there a few years ago, and it's amazing" said Max happily

"Well, now that I've told you everything, go get ready and eat something, because the pilots' parade should start in a couple of hours" Horner told us

After leaving Horner's studio, Max and I began to do some reflex exercises and to warm up a bit, after which we went to the paddock restaurant, which had a glass window that allowed us to see the entire track from above. During lunch some of Max's fans arrived and asked for photos, Max was always happy to please the fans, also because he wasn't the most loved driver on the grid.

After finishing lunch, I helped Max get ready, and he left because the parade was about to start. While the drivers were in the cars, I approached the Ferrari garage to look for Charlotte. Last night I hadn't even called her, she must have been very worried about her, and even if I had seen a call on my phone the night before, I wanted to go and reassure her.

As soon as I entered the Ferrari garage, I went towards Charles' garage, and as I was walking away, I bumped into someone.

"Be careful little girl" a voice reproaches me behind me

As I turned to see who she was, my eyes clashed with the blue ones of Rebeca, Carlos' girlfriend.

"You again? What are you doing here?" she asked me

"I was going to Charlotte" I replied abruptly, trying to get out of there as soon as possible. Luckily she let me pass, and I headed towards Charles' garage.
I saw Charlotte from behind, she was wearing a black skirt, a red t-shirt and Charles' hat. As soon as I touched her shoulder and she turned around, her face lit up.

"Lilys, thank goodness you're here and you're fine, last night you scared me" she scolded me, hugging me

"Sorry, it all happened so quickly that I didn't even notice" I replied

"Don't worry, thank goodness Carlos brought you home safe and sound" she told me

"Shhh, lower your voice, I don't want anyone to hear you" I told her
