Crystal was standing in front of a massive door, holding two steaming cups of coffee in her hands. Her heart was pounding with nervous anticipation as she raised her hand to knock. Just as she was about to make contact with the door, a voice boomed out from within.

"Come in, Crystal," the voice said, and she recognized it as belonging to Xavier.

It had been a full week since Xavier's return, and in that time, Crystal had not seen her boyfriend Chris once. He had claimed he was too busy with his schoolwork, but she had her doubts. Her suspicions were confirmed when she stumbled upon a video on Instagram last night, posted by one of her college friends. In the background of the video, she could see Chris talking very closely to another girl.

Despite the evidence of his infidelity, Crystal found herself curiously apathetic. For some reason, she simply couldn't bring herself to care.

after all, she had came to the image of her bosses doing sinful things to her last night before she fell asleep.

As she pushed the door open with both hands occupied by the coffee, she noticed that both men were already staring at her. She felt a sense of arousal rising within her as the door refused to stay open, causing her to give up and let it swing shut.

She was now alone in the same room as them, and it seemed like she had been in this situation a lot lately. She had been coming over to bring them coffee and attend meetings with them, and they always convinced her to go on lunch with them.

They would pass subtle glares at her whenever she addressed them formally instead of using their names. Despite all these things, every time she had to face them, she would turn red, smile nervously, and her hands would shake as she handed them their coffee and their hands touched for a brief second.

Crystal could feel the strength of their mate bond, which was unusual and almost supernatural.

standing in front of them. Crystal asked if they would like her to read out the schedule for the day. Both men nodded their heads, giving her the go-ahead. She had a tight-lipped smile as she stared at them.

After a brief pause, she began, "So, you have a meeting scheduled with Mr Russell in the next 40 minutes. Following that, you will have to make a few adjustments in the marketing department, as there have been a lot of complaints coming in for some days now. You will have to attend a lunch meeting with a Ms Abigail Smith at 1:30 PM." Crystal paused briefly as she said the name Abigail, which seemed to strike a chord with her.

Matthew interrupted her by asking, "Is that everything, little heart?" while running a finger on his lower lip and balancing himself on the desk with his elbow.

To this, she snapped and spoke up. "Ah, the catering company you hired for the party you're hosting in three days has called you in for a few changes that will occur to the menu.

"Schedule their meeting for 3:30 PM, which if I'm not wrong we will be free," Xavier asked

Crystal nodded and noted it down in her notebook. "That is all for today unless there are a few changes. I'll keep you guys updated," she said as she closed her notebook.

Xavier praised her by saying, "Great job, princess," to which Crystal blushed and muttered a small thank you.

As Crystal was about to leave their office, she was approached by Matthew, who asked her to stay for a discussion. Her heart began to race as she wondered if she did something wrong.

"Is there something I did wrong?" she inquired with a hint of concern.

Matthew reassured her, "Don't worry, princess, you are perfect for this job. We just need you to accompany us to the party."
