After a satisfying lunch with Matthew, she returned to her workplace, ready to pack up and head home. As she gathered the papers strewn across her desk, she sensed a presence behind her. She turned around to find Matthew standing by the doorway, his gaze focused on her.

Their eyes locked, and a moment of silence ensued as they stood there, simply staring at each other. She couldn't help but feel a sense of unease between her legs as she wondered why Matthew was staring at her like that.

As she tried to break the tension, she faltered and accidentally called him "sir" before correcting herself. She waited for Matthew to say something, hoping to put her mind at ease.

Matthew strode into the room with a smug expression on his face, his eyes scanning the space for any signs of disarray. He stopped right in front of her and looked down at her with a superior air, the height difference between them becoming more apparent. She had to tilt her head back to meet his gaze.

"I just came to check if you're ready to leave," he said, his voice dripping with condescension. "And to tell you that Xavier is back." Crystal's eyes sparkled with curiosity as soon as she heard Xavier's name.

"Xavier is back?" she asked, trying to keep her excitement in check.

Matthew grabbed her chin, forcing her to look him in the eye. He scrutinized her face with a keen eye, taking in every detail he had seen before but this time from a much closer distance.

As she looked into his eyes, she felt an intense desire that seemed to consume her. It was as if every fiber of her being was connected to them through an unbreakable bond that pulsed with a palpable energy.

She knew that it was more than just physical attraction - it was a connection of mind, body, and soul. Even if she tried to resist it, she knew that it was a part of her now, and she could never let it go.

As she finished packing her things into her bag, Matthew offered to give her a ride home. She politely declined, suggesting that she could simply call an Uber or hail a taxi. Despite her insistence, Matthew was persistent. "I wasn't asking," he said, taking her hand and intertwining their fingers. His touch sent a cold shiver down her spine, and she tried to hide her blushing face as they passed Rachel on their way to the elevator.

Crystal waved at Rachel, who looked on with slight confusion as she noticed their intertwined hands. Sensing her discomfort, Crystal spoke up. "Matthew, I don't think it's appropriate for you to be holding my hand," she said as they stopped in front of the elevator.

Matthew simply pressed the button and turned to her with a sly smile. "I don't see you stopping me, little heart," he whispered in her ear, his breath sending shivers down her back.

Matthew and Crystal stepped into the elevator, the air thick with tension. As they stood side by side, Matthew slipped a hand around her waist. With a gasp, Crystal held onto his hand as he drew a pattern above her clothes. The heat from his touch sent shivers down her spine, and she couldn't help but feel the pull between them.

"You can't ignore it, Crystal," Matthew muttered from beside her, his voice low and husky.

"What are you talking about?" Crystal asked, even though she knew exactly what he meant. The attraction between them had been building for weeks, and it was becoming harder and harder to resist.

Matthew gently placed his hand on her shoulder and turned her around to face him. As he looked into her eyes, he reached up and delicately brushed a single strand of hair away from her face, his fingers grazing her soft cheeks. The intimate moment between them was filled with tenderness and a sense of closeness.

"I shouldn't be feeling this way for both of you. It's not right," she said firmly, trying to pull away. But Matthew had a tight grip on her.

"Normal is subjective, Crystal," he said, looking her in the eye.
