"Y/n is a valuable asset, if we follow through with this plan..."

"We keep Y/n, we get the tech, and we successfully break Othello's spirit. We win all around."

"If Tan were here, she wouldn't accept this."

"Well Tan isn't here, she's dead. She died on a mission" She glares at the two. "And she wasn't ever in it for us."

They pause. Looking between each other for a moment.

"Alright. We approve your plan, Kendra."

"Move out of the way!" You shout, flipping through the air. Landing on your skates and going back up the other side of the ramp. You grin, flipping yet again through the air, tucking your knees over your head before landing upright, spinning slightly before you skid to a halt on the concrete, the boys can't help but stop skating altogether, Donnie, who had been sitting on the floor just watching. Has eyes the size of saucers, and a dopey grin on his face.

You grin and chuckle a little, your hands on your hips. Panting slightly from the exertion. You hadn't skated like that in a while. And you were no mutant, reaching the top of those ramps was a feat.

"Impressed yet?"

"Where did you learn to skate like that?" Leo asks, bewildered.

"A... uh." You look to Donnie for help, it's not a visible look to anyone else, but he understands.

"A friend of theirs." He says quickly, looking up at his brother from where he sits, he glares slightly at him. "She taught them everything they know."

You smile, nodding. It wasn't a lie, but how Donnie knew this was beyond you.

Then again, somehow he seemed to know everything about you.

"I've got to meet them."

"Maybe another day, they're a little busy right now." You spurt. Nodding at your own words.

A little busy being dead.

Your stomach grumbles and you roll your eyes, trying to shake off your foul mood. But soon, the boys' stomachs do the same.

"Mikey's on it!" He shouts, skating out of the room, running into something while he skates away, sending a metal bowl rolling out into the hallway.

"I am okay!" He shouts, you chuckle.

"So... You work for the Purple Dragons?"

"Leo..." Donnie warns.

"What? They're your nemesis, Donnie. I'm just concerned for my twin."

Your face falls, a little.

"They're not like that."

"And how do you know? Haven't they tried this before."

"They're better than that." He snarls, standing up from his seat. "They're good."

He stalks towards you, and grabs your hand.

"C'mon." He whispers. You follow behind him.

He takes you to his lab, shutting the door behind you two. He's practically fuming bout his brother.

"His suspicions are valid." You whisper. Letting your hand fall from his.

"They're completely unwarranted." He snarls, before turning around to see you practically caving in on yourself.

You felt terrible. He trusts you, he fights for you. It was a new feeling in itself. You couldn't remember the last time people fought for you. It was long before you lost Tan, you knew that much.
