Your body was covered in dirt, dripping with sweat, and heaving to leave the room you were in. It was torture to know that you had failed, and in the process made your life worse. On top of the physical torture that they were putting you through to prove a point.

It had been who knows how long since that night. You'd faded in and out of consciousness more than you care to count.

When you hear shouts, and the sound of an alarm, your heart jumps. What was going on?

The door to your cell opens and closes, and you hear an angered voice echo through the space.

"He's come to save you."

Your eyes widen as Kendra steps into the light, holding the remote control to the thing you were strapped into. You shake your head.

"It's too bad he'll find you're long gone when he gets-"

A sharp thud reverberates through the room and Kendra falls flat on her face. Donnie stands above her, glaring, body heaving with breath. He looks up at you, and you watch as his body practically falls.

"Y/n." He whispers, grabbing the remote control and pressing a button, releasing you from the chair you'd been stuck in. You stand, before stumbling, almost falling on your face in a similar fashion to Kendra.

Donnie catches you, picking you up and carrying you, your legs thrown over one of his arms and your body resting against the other. You lean into his plastron, closing your eyes, taking shallow breaths.

"I'm sorry." You whisper, tired tears pricking at your eyes.

"You could've died, and you're apologizing to me?"

"But I manipulated you, I-."

"You were being manipulated, is my trust a little broken? Yeah. But we can work on that once you're okay."

You nod, curling in on yourself in his arms. He shifts you so that you can rest your head on his shoulder. Hiding your face from the carnage that his family was bringing down on the Dragons.

"Leo!" Donnie yells, squeezing you a little tighter as you jump.

"On it!"

Blue light surrounds him, and suddenly he's in the lair. Leo appeared beside him. You open your eyes to see him.

"I'm gonna take you from Don, okay?"

You cling a little tighter to Donnie.

"He won't hurt you."

You shake your head, your heart pounding against your chest. Leo's eyes widen as you lean into Donnie more. You couldn't think about getting fixed up, the amount of times that the Dragons had dressed your wounds just to hurt you again...

"Donnie, you've gotta help them."

"What? Why me-"

"They trust you." Leo says, cutting his katana through the air. "I can only imagine what the Dragons put them through."

Then he's gone, and Donnie's left alone with you clinging to him. He feels overwhelmed, your life literally lies in his hands. He takes a deep breath. He's done this before.

"Alright Y/n. I'm going to disinfect your wounds, okay?"

You take a shallow breath, nodding.

"Okay."

He moves towards the med bay, lying you down on the small operating table, though you didn't have any broken bones, clearly you had been burned severely. There were bruises on your wrists from ill-healed lacerations on your wrists. You looked like death had come knocking on your door, and you'd barely been able to hold him off.
