You woke up having forgotten everything in your dream. But one line.

I don't. It's just the perfect movie to watch with the most amazing person on the planet.

You found that Donnie's arm was wrapped around you when you woke. You looked up to see his sleeping features, a soft smile falling over you. Your heart squeezes as you look at him.

The Purple Dragons resurfaced in your mind, and you grapple with what you had to do. You couldn't stall forever. They'd need information.

Next time you went in, you wouldn't be giving them anything.

You carefully moved out of Donnie's arms and collected the trash and dishes from the previous night, and got up, leaving his lab and navigating your way to the kitchen using your gauntlet.

He'd downloaded a map of it onto your gauntlet so you could get around better. A sweet gesture, yet another thing you found on the list of similarities and differences between the Dragons and Donnie.

On your first day with Tan, they'd barely bat and eye, though you'd never gotten around without her as your own personal map. You'd been a few minutes late and they'd docked your pay ever so slightly.

Donnie had been so gracious with you when you got lost in the maze of his home, the map furthered the point entirely. He'd trusted you with his space. Something the Dragons seemed to find all too hard to do.

You search around in the cupboards for some mugs, and a hand opens a different cupboard than the one you had invited yourself into, grabbing three mugs. Handing you two of them.

"I'm sorry about last night." The voice says, sighing as he pours coffee into two of the cups. "You want sugar?"

The red slider stares at you for a moment, and you stare back, before shaking your head.

"I'll take it black."

He pours some coffee into the second mug. Replacing the pot under the maker. Leaning against the metal countertop.

You do the same, letting Donnie's coffee cool slightly. He liked it on the warm side. You don't mind the slight burning sensation of hot coffee.

"Honestly? With the amount of people we've sent to infiltrate this place? Your lives? I think it's entirely warranted."

Especially when up until last night it was entirely my intention.

"What was that?" he asks, eyeing you suspiciously.

"I-"

"So that's what you're here for? Manipulating Donnie? His tech? Him even?"

"It's not like that-"
"You're all the same."

He slams his coffee mug down on the counter, stalking out of the kitchen. Calling for his brothers.

"Raph! Michael!"

"Leo please-"

"Nardo." Donnie says, walking into the kitchen. Glaring at his twin. "What's all the commotion about?"

"Y/n is in on it with the Dragons."

Donnie's eyes grow darker, and he moves over to you, looking in disdain at his brother.

"Leave them alone Leo. They've been through enough."

"Oh I don't think it's nearly enough." Leo says, stalking towards his twin, who instinctively steps in front of you. You close your eyes, breathing in and out. He was right. He wasn't lying. "Clearly, they haven't learned anything. If they'd been through enough they wouldn't be using you, Don."

Donnie stares his brother down, and as the rustling of Rph and Mikey can be heard through the lair, the purple clad Donnie takes your hand.

"We're leaving."

"Where are you going?" Leo calls. Confused and concerned. You follow Donnie up the ladder out into the city.

"Away from you."

You leave the lair feeling worse than you've ever felt before.
