FLASHBACK TO JUST TWO DAYS AGO: I sat in a rocking chair in the nursery. I looked up as soon as I heard his voice, "Writing a love letter to a suitor?"

I stayed silent as Klaus entered the room, "Don't tell me it's me. . .I thought I was out of the running ages ago"

"And the award for 'Biggest ego" goes to Klaus Mikaelson" We laughed

I looked at him and then at my letter, "It's for the babies" He nodded, "I- uh I wouldn't write you a letter"

Klaus raised a brow, "And why not?"

"I'd rather just tell you face to face how I feel"

"And how do you feel?"

Come on Annabelle, spill it. I figured that now would be a great time to just tell him how I felt, it couldn't be that hard.

"Annabelle?"

"Sorry" I looked up at him, "I feel drawn to you Klaus and I can't help it feel like—Oh" I gasped when I felt one of the babies kick.

He looked at me with curious eyes as he walked closer, "How are our little wolves?"

"Do you want to feel?" I rubbed my baby bump and watched as he hesitated before he smiled.

"Come on, there not gonna bite"

Klaus knelt down in front of me and without thinking I grabbed his hand and slowly placed it on my belly. I watched his reaction as one of the babies kicked again, he gasped which made me smile.

"You feel that?"

Klaus smiled. He looked up at me, I watched how his smile faded when he locked eyes on our hands. I realised that my hand was still on top of his, I removed it. He stood up, looking away, "Right, I'll leave you to your letter then"

Klaus left the room and I sighed before going back to my letter."

Dear Liam and Zoe or Angela,

To my babies, your dad just asked if this was a love letter. I guess it kind of is. I don't remember my mother, she died when your uncle Jack and I were very little. I have no idea what she must have thought when she carried me. So, I thought I'd write to you, so you can know you happy I am at this very moment. How much your father and I can't wait to meet you two, hold you in our arms and I want to make you a promise of three things that you will have: unconditional love every single day, a safe home and someone to fight for you, no matter what. In other words, a family. Not many people have that but the two of you will. The rest, we're going to have to figure out together. I love you
