Tighnari had locked himself in his room, forced himself into the dark, and did nothing but schoolwork. In other words, he grounded himself.

Cyno, Tighnari, and Collei had made plans to hang out on Saturday, but Tighnari pulled himself out as a punishment. Cyno on the other hand was more than willing to go to get his mind off his problems.

Cyno and Collei were enjoying their time at the mall, but they both had their minds on one thing. I wish Tighnari was here with us. Collei tried to talk Tighnari out of self-punishment, but his refusal left Cyno and Collei with a weekend to themselves.

Collei and Cyno were walking down the street on their way to the mall. Not a word came out of either of them. For Cyno, he felt like saying anything would lead to Collei trying to defend Tighnari and judgment. For Collei, striking a conversation would end in more embarrassing silence. Collei sighed. The tension was growing unbearable.

"Hey," Cyno suddenly spoke. "How's Tighnari."

"Punishing himself," Collei replied.

"Oh..." Cyno stopped walking and buried his face in his hands. "It's my fault."

"What happened?" Collei put her hand on his shoulder. "I'm not going to judge you." Cyno parted his fingers to see Collei. Her soft and friendly smile put him at ease.

"Promise you won't get mad?" Cyno's tone held the same amount of embarrassment in his face. Collei nodded.

He sighed. "Don't tell Tighnari what I'm about to tell you."
