I was sent to protect her. My father requested that I be sent. She doesn't know me yet but I know all about her. It is my duty and honor to protect this beautiful creature. But I have to keep my distance for right now. I must wait until the right time to introduce myself. I watch from afar as she talks with her boyfriend Lance. I see him storm off leaving her heartbroken. I want to be there. I want to be by her side and hold her in my arms. I watch as she gets in the car with her brother Jacob and drives away. I must follow her. I contact my father and update him so far on what's going on. I take off into the distance following the car. When I arrive, I make sure I stay hidden. I must not let my emotions and my heart get in the way of my job. I watch. I watch her sleep. I watch her cry. I watch. She's so beautiful. I can't help but stare. Eventually she falls asleep and I smile. Day 1, Perfect. Tomorrow morning will definitely be hectic, considering she's leaving and all, but I pay it no mind. I will go the distance for her. As the moon sets, I lay back against the window and watch the stars. I soon fall into a deep sleep and dream. I dream about her.
