CHAPTER 3: Friendship

A few weeks passed , Soojin and Hyunjin got closer , having a lot of fun together and knowing each other better.

Soojin woke up to the sound of her phone buzzing. The brunette grabbed her phone lazily with her eyes half closed , "hello?" she said as she answered her phone while still laying in bed , "good morning sleeping beauty."

She just smiled widely knowing that it was him , "good morning Hyun , is everything okay? You don't usually call at this hour" , "yeah everything's awesome I just wanted to ask you if you're free today and I couldn't wait until you wake up because that sounded like waiting for ages." He replied as he was giggling.

"Yeah I'm free , besides , it's my day off so don't expect me to wake up early , anyways why did you ask?" she answered smiling , still half awake. "Yeah I know lazy , anyways , would you like to meet up at the gym after 2 hours?" He asked sounding excited.

"Yeah sure , I'll get ready then." Soojin replied. "Don't you dare fall asleep again , I can't wait for long." Hyunjin said giggling , "yeah yeah don't worry I won't let you wait." She replied laughing. "Everything can wait except seeing you." He said softly in a low voice suddenly sounding serious. But she was able to hear him.

"Why are you suddenly so serious?" Soojin asked confused. "Nothing it's just that I'm excited to meet up pretty , nevermind now go get ready and I'll do too." He replied with a soft giggle trying to change the subject. "Okay I will , see you there." Soojin said.

Soojin got up and got ready , chose her outfit which consisted of a black short hoodie and a tight black short with corresponding shoes. A sporty comfortable outfit , yet appears her slim curved waist perfectly.

As she was walking downstairs , her mother was already getting out of her room. "Good morning honey" her mother said with a bright smile. "Good morning mom." Soojin replied smiling once she saw her mom.

"You don't usually wake up this early on your days off , what happened?" Her mom said. "Nothing it's just that Hyunjin and I will be going to the gym after an hour." The daughter replied sounding slightly shy. "Ohh , you two are getting really close since you met each other , what's going on?" Her mom said giggling while winking at her daughter and hitting her elbow softly.

"Nothing mom ! We're just friends that's all." Replied Soojin with embarrassment while covering her laugh with her hand. "Well it's not bad , but he's a gentleman you know , handsome , charming , besides you two really fit together." Her mom said still teasing her daughter who laighed and blushed hard "yeah mom he's awesome but we're friends no need to make a big deal out of it."

"Okay my dear , don't be shy it's fine , now go finish your breakfast , don't let Hyunjin wait for long." Her mom said before leaving and giving her daughter a hug who hugged ger back and smiled genuinely.

Soojin finished everything and headed towards her car , as she was about to turn the engine on , she got a message. She opened her phone to check before leaving.

WHERE ARE YOU!!!!

Soojin laughed as she was imagining how Hyunjin is waiting impatiently for her.

I'M ON MY WAY , BE PATIENT I'M NOT EVEN LATE YET <3

Yeahh...just can't wait to see you hurry!! Be careful while driving pretty lady.<3

Soojin froze for a while trying not to overthink what she just read , he called me pretty she thought as she was getting shy. No Soojin stop you're imagining things no need to think that. She immediately shook her head and started driving to forget the thoughts that were roaming around her brain.
