CHAPTER 4 : A Protective "Friend" ?

After hearing those words , Hyunjin felt anger spreading in his body and worry taking over his heart , is she okay? What will happen if he wasn't there on time?

Hyunjin left speeding to find Soojin , he looked for her in every corner of the gym , but he couldn't find anything . When he was walking near the hallway that Soojin was in , he heard it , her voice.

"What do you want from me !" Soojin said yelling , and the guy is just getting closer by every passing minute , the smirk not leaving his face . Looking around for something but she couldn't find anything to escape , she was trapped. Which made her feel extremely scared but won't show.

Until her eyes met the pair of eyes that happen to be there for her every time , she felt at ease. Hyunjin saw the guy getting closer to the brunette , and trapping her between his arms on the wall while using a hand to choke her.

Soojin was still trying to push him away with tears in her eyes ,  but he won't leave her , his grip tightened around her neck , he even used his legs to trap her and forbid her from doing anything to escape.Soojin was starting to find it hard to breathe , she tried pushing him , hitting him , but nothing worked.

Hyunjin ran to the guy and instantly punched him in the face. The guy was surprised for the sudden hit , he didn't even notice that someone was there. He involuntary took steps backwards due to the sudden force.

Putting a hand on his cheek near his mouth , the guy saw a bit of blood running down the edge of his lips. "Don't you dare lay a hand on her." Hyunjin said yelling at the guy furiously , he felt his blood boiling , he didn't get enough , he wanted to finish him.

While Soojin was trying to grab Hyunjin from his arm to stop him from doing anything further that would make him get in trouble , "Hyun please that's enough , I don't want the problem to go further." She said while looking at him worried , and not comfortable by what's happening. He looked at her and nodded.

The guy looked at Hyunjin in surprise , he got angry and was ready to do anything to harm him. He looked like fire was escaping from his eyes and smoke getting out of his ears.

The guy was going towards Hyunjin to punch him , Hyunjin on the other hand grabbed Soojin's hand and interwined her's with his. He just stood there looking at the guy coldly and sighed.

The guy was about to hit Hyunjin but what he didn't expect is the kick from the same guy infront of him he got at his stomach before even approaching Hyunjin's face. With one smooth movement  , Hyunjin kicked the guy and watched his body lie there on the ground, hurt , not being able to move because of the pain.

Hyunjin got closer to the guy's face while still interwining his hand with the brunette , who to him , meant a lot , he said "If you get near her again , in fact , if you just think about harming her , just know that you're already done , and just so you know , you're still alive because of her presence, otherwise I would've showed you what hell feels like." Then he just looked up quickly and smiled at Soojin , took her by the hand and left.

Soojin was completely shocked , it all happened so fast and she couldn't understand a thing. She's just staring at her hands interwined with the handsome guy who saved her from what could happen if no one was there to help her. She was trying to fathom what he just did , she felt very safe with him , from the way he was still holding hands with her made her feel something strange as if her heart was fluttering.

Is it love? She wasn't sure but what she was sure of is that she doesn't want to let go of his hand. It was a new feeling for her. She never saw that side of him before tho. He knows how to fight really good , stay cold and calm at situations like this , he seemed heartless while looking at that guy , as if he would kill him and it won't matter. There's something about him and Soojin was aware of it.

They arrived at the gym , and Hyunjin was still holding the brunette's hand , he grabbed their bags with his other hand and took Soojin with him , heading towards his car.
