CHAPTER 14 : Hiding

Hyunjin and Soojin continued crouch-walking in the same position as Hyunjin's eyes were roaming the area to see if anyone is following them. The brunette beside him was just doing what she's told to , just staying close and quite.

Another thing done , which wasn't exactly necessary , that is staring at Hyunjin closely and exploring his features , tho it wasn't the right time but she just couldn't take her eyes off him.

He looked very serious , attentive and extra careful while sneaking their way to the car like that. In other words , he looked extra handsome in this state.

As they got closer , Hyunjin saw his car and soon they were beside it. He signaled to Soojin to get in quickly but carefully and silently , which she did after he's done the same. Both got in the car and Hyunjin started driving away fast , looking at the mirrors every second but calmly. He looked so calm concerning the circumstances they were in.

While Soojin was looking calm , she felt nervous , not knowing what she's gotten herself into. It sounded like heading to the unknown , but she trusted Hyunjin , and was waiting for him to explain everything.

"So? What was that?? What's going on Hyunjin!?" She asked him in a serious tone with a hint of anger in her voice. No one likes to go through what she's been through without knowing right? And that made her a bit angry , doing all that without knowing the reason of the dangerous situation.

"I'll explain everything once we're safe , I promise. Just let us take shelter first." Hyunjin answered in a cold tone while still concentrating on the road and the mirrors before he pressed a button in his car which locked all doors. She looked at him with a hint of confusion in her face expression mixed with a worried one.

Then she slowly hummed while nodding and turned her face to the window , watching the streets. Why is he so cold all of a sudden. And some what angry? She assumed it's really something of a big matter going on.

A few minutes while they're still on the road , suddenly Soojin's phone rang , indicating a message that was sent to her. She picked her phone up from her bag and opened it. It was a message from an unknown number.

Happy with your boyfriend yeah?
Haven't you asked him about his real job yet?

Uncertainty rushed through Soojin's mind , should she open that video that an unknown sent to her? And what is he/she talking about? Boyfriend? She paused for a second lost in her thoughts , searching through her memory , until she found it.

"Babe , come on , let's go , I have a surprise for you." He said smiling.

"Huh? Hyun what's going on? Why are you acting wierd?" She replied looking at him in shock as she didn't fathom what he just said. Tho her cheeks were already painted in a pink shade. He didn't respond yet but he reached his hand to hers in intention to help her stand up and she took it , now facing him.

"Love , what do you mean acting weird? Am I not allowed to surprise my girlfriend?"

Her eyes slightly widened. That strange behaviour of his , and how he asked her to play along. That's when the thought hit her , are they being....followed?

"Hyunjin , are we being followed?" She asked turning her head towards him only to see him tense up even more and anger obvious in his eyes as his jaw clenched and the same went for his fists as he clenched the steering wheel hard , even his veins looked like were about to pop out of his neck and arms. He looked really mad.
