CHAPTER 13 : Followed

Hyunjin and Soojin made their way to the mall and grabbed their stuff and everything they needed for their picnic at the beach , and now they're heading there , while Soojin was a blushing mess because of the way Hyunjin was holding her hand while driving. His eyes fixed on the road and driving in a professional yet attractive way.

Oh my god , he looks so fine. She thought while biting her bottom lip. Get your shits together Soojin what is wrong with you. She thought again after shaking her head to get rid of the thoughts that were taking her nowhere but to burn her cheeks with a shade of pink and make her heart beat faster. Thinking Hyunjin didn't notice , but frankly he did and smirked at the sight.

They soon arrived at the beach and searched for the perfect spot to sit , which was a bit far away from the people who were there in order to enjoy their time without any bother. So as soon as they found the spot , Hyunjin fixed the huge umbrella above their heads to protect them from sunlight and heat , while Soojin put the blanket they bought on the sand in order for them to sit.

As they got everything ready , they started unpacking and opening the snacks and drinks they bought to enjoy eating with the incredible view of the shore infront of them while they talk and chat.

I need to tell her. Hyunjin thought. "Ummm....Soojin , uhm , I'll be right back I forgot something in the car." He said and quickly rushed to the car leaving a confused girl behind. What happened to him? Soojin thought but soon shrugged it off , he must've forgotten something.

Hyunjin got to the car which was a 5 minute walk away from the beach , parked in a place behind the cars that belonged to people who are at the beach. Once he got inside the car , he closed the door and started banging his haid lightly at the steering wheel.

"Idiot , I'm. A. Total. Idiot. Just tell her oh my god , how awesome really , I'm a mafia leader and here I am nervous and scared to tell a girl about my feelings and my job which is not related to any bad doing." He started scolding himself and raising his voice with every sentence coming out of his mouth.

He felt stupid , really stupid. He should just tell her if there's nothing bad about the situation , yes he is a mafia leader , but not a bad one , he works with other gangs undercover to save the children and people who are getting kidnapped and abused by those gangs without anyone knowing.

So why couldn't he just tell her , and also confess his feelings to her , scared to drag her into this mess? But he can protect her , and his team approved to help him and always stay by his side.

He also knows that they will , and he trusts them with his life , as much as they would sacrifice their lives for him , he would too. What an amazing , loyal and professional team he has.

"Okay , I can do this , it's not as hard as what I do almost everyday , saving children and facing other mafias." He said , convincing and encouraging himself to finally do it.

Before he could step out of the car , his phone started ringing , he picked it up and it was Chan , his teammate , why is he calling? And from his other number? They just use their other numbers in case of emergency or something related to their "work" so no one can track them.

He quickly answered the call. "Hello , Chan is everything okay? You don't usually use this phone number." Hyunjin stated. "Hyunjin , something happened while we were doing our mission , we need you to come here immediately , and be extremely careful , also make sure that Soojin is safe , hurry , we're running out of time , we need to take cover." Chan said quickly , which sounded like he was rapping from how fast he was talking.

"What?! What's Soojin's business in this? What is going on!!!! Explain." Hyunjin said quickly , not understanding what's going on. And what has Soojin got to do with this? He was starting to worry , tho cold and serious but worry was starting to creep into his heart at the mention that Soojin may be in danger.
