Chapter One

-Amy's POV-

I was dreaming of my friend Rouge and I going shopping in a store that had really great deals when I heard the sound of my annoying alarm.I opened my eyes to face the alarm clock, flashing 7:00 am.

Finally, I've been waiting for this day to come for years. I was finally going to get the car that my dad has promised to get me, since like forever.

"Hey Amy, guess what ?!"

I turned around to find Rouge with Maria aside her. I have been living with them ever since I was 16. Rouge is very spoiled girl, so her parents had given her a house to feed her child's wants. So now we live with her in here. She is very rich . Her parents own on of the biggest casino's in the world. Maria lived with us because she didn't like living alone with her parents. They're my best friends, and I trust them with everything.

"What?" I asked.

Rouge waved something that looked like keys. My eyes grew big.

"Oh my gosh! Finally," I ran to Rouge and took my keys away from her.

"Your dad left them outside with your car in the patio his morning," Maria said looking outside the window.

I ran to the window to check my car out. It was a black Ferrari. My dream car. I was going to scream from the excitement flowing through my veins.

"We can show it off today?" Rouge offered. We all laughed.

"We are." I said laughing some more.

We got ready and got in the car. We though we all looked pretty nice. I was wearing a designer light pink dress I got over the summer. Rouge was wearing black skinny jeans with a red plaid shirt. and Maria was wearing a white skirt and pastel blue top.

"Guys I'm so excited to see everybody," Maria said. I though of my other friends. My school is so weird. I mean the students, not the school.

There's this system in my school were everybody gets rank. Freshman are the ones who heavily get judged. Its were you define yourself . If you are really social and 'pretty' you get a good rank , and if you are considered 'ugly' and bland, you don't get a good rank.

Im consider very popular, and since I'm always hanging out with Rouge and Maria they call us "Amy's clique". I honestly don't really like the title. There is also another clique, who is also very popular. Everyone things that we fight for popularity, but its another misunderstanding.

"Hey Amy, what if Sonic starts having feelings for you again? " Maria wondered.

I rolled my eyes. Sonic and I dated year, but we broke up after we realized that we actually didn't like each other.

"I don't think so, and besides, didn't he tweeted out a love quote saying 'I think I fell for you?' and don't yall remember I'm dating Scourge now?"

"Yea, but he is such a flirt . He flirts with every girl" Rouge complains.

I rolled my eyes.They always do this. All my friends tell me Scourge is a bad person for me.

"Guys, deep inside him, he is a good person. You just need to get to know him better" I say smiling.

Rouge and Maria sighted. On the way to school we encountered many freshman kiddos who tried to talk to us. We just laughed and drived away.

We finally got to the school parking lot . A lot of people gathered around are car to see us.

"Wow Ames, nice car" Sonic said. I looked at him and smiled. Okay, maybe Sonic did have some charm here and there, but it's not like I could like him again .

Maria, Rouge and I walked inside the building being greeted people we didn't have an idea who they were.

We stopped by our lockers, which were placed right next to each others. It was a good thing since we were like sisters and we could gossip without anyone hearing us. I heard whispers and I turned around to find people staring at a new figure.

He looked very handsome. He was tall , and his fur was black, with red stripes . I could tell he was new. Sonic was showing him around, but I guess the guy was annoyed with all the girls practically drolling over him. Wow . Wouldn't that be a good sign for you at your first day in a new place?

He looked pretty funny. Maria and Rouge joined in the laughter with me . Sonic looked our way on walked over to us.

"Hey Ames" Sonic said. I smiled .

"Are you going to show me your new friend ?" I looked at the new guy , and he was looking at me. I immediately blushed at his attention . He looked so handsome and beautiful. He had beautiful eyes. They were so amazing . I couldn't stop staring at them l.

"Oh yea, girls this is Shadow, Shadow that pink hedgehog, Amy. The white bat is Rouge and the shy girl over there is Maria" Sonic said.

"Im not shy. I just don't talk to strangers" Maria quickly defended herself.

"Sure Maria " Rouge said . We all laughed, except Shadow . He looked tense .

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked him. He looked away, and I think he was looking at the clock.

"Yea, I got to go." he said walking away.

"Hey Shadow, wait we still haven't finished our school tour thingy." Sonic said.

Then he looked me. I just shrugged. I dont what the deal is with this guy,but I'm going to figure it out.

"Guys lets just go to class" Maria offered.
"I need to go to the restroom first," Rouge said.

"Rouge you went to the restroom 10 minutes ago. I bet you only want to check your makeup." I said rolling my eyes. Rouge sometimes really gets on my nerves.

"Duh, I'm a lady. I need to look pretty, even though I already am" Rouge said dragging Maria and me to the restrooms.
