Chapter 4

-Amy's POV-

We got inside the club (with fake ID's that Jet got for us) and looked for our other friends. I found Sally sitting in Sonic's lap. I badly wanted to scream. What the heck?! Sonic couldn't possibly be falling for her, could he?

"Hey Ames," Sonic said as we reached his area.

"Hello Sonic," I said as I faked smiled. If he knew I was practically boiling over anger, would he take Sally of his lap?

"Hey Amy, you should really stop glaring at Sally, just get over him," Rouge whispered in my ear.

She was right. I came here to have a good time, and besides it's not like Sonic would ever notice me now and because I was dating Scourge!!

"Rouge, do you want to go dance?," Jet asked.

My eyes widened. He would normally just sit around and talk to his friends. I hope he finally gets the guts to date Rouge, even though she likes Knuckles, it would be good for her to get over him.

"Sure, Jet" Rouge said and she left. With that Shadow, Maria and I seated in a table.

"Im going to go get something to drink," Maria said.

Which meant that Shadow and I were left alone. Of course I didn't want to weird out anything between us, so I engaged a conversation with him.

"So Shadow, are you trying out for any sports this year?" I asked him. Shadow looked like he was in though for a couple seconds.

"Actually yeah, I was planning to tryout for Football. I was doing Football in my old town, but I moved. What about you?" he asked me.

"Well right now I'm in varsity volleyball, but I hope to tryout for something else later on," I smiled.

"Oh that's nice, hey um.. I was wondering since I really don't know anyone in this school and I would like some support, would you like to be my jersey girl if I make it in the football team?," Shadow asked.

Woah there, I want expecting that. But that actually could give me a chance to meet Shadow even more.

"Oh yeah sure, but in exchange, can you come support me in my volleyball games?" I asked Shadow with a smirk .

"Sure, can I have your  phone number, you know, so we can keep contacted," He said, pulling out this phone.

I smirked as I typed in my phone number. Well that was easy, I didn't even have to ask.

Just in time, Maria came in with some drinks. She smiled at the sight of Shadow and I trading phones.

"Well that went well," She said. I felt my ears get hot.

"I got water here, I couldn't convince the bartender to gives us drinks because he said he knew we were underage," Maria said with a pout.

"But at least I got his phone number," she said with big eyes. I giggled.

"Yeah either way, how's life Shadow?" Maria asked Shadow trying to include him in the conversation.

"It's okay," he said. Maria not being great with small talks, turned around and faced me.

"Guess what?" she asked me.

"What?"

"I think I'm starting to develop feelings for Silver" she said looking down. My mouth opened into a big 'O'.

"That's not possible, I thought you liked someone else, someone but him," I said.

"I know! I'm attracted for a weird reason though. He's like shy but he's also very sweet," she said.

"And when did you start noticing this?"

"Well of course I had known him since we were little , but I never noticed it. It's like something changed and whala!" Maria said throwing her arms up.

"Well that's cute, but just be careful because  Blaze is also going after him" I warned her.

"Yeah I know, that's the problem. Blaze is like 1,000 times prettier than me, and I'm pretty sure Silver likes her," she said. I frowned. There had been a strong rumor that Blaze and Silver were going to go out, but something happened and they didn't go out in the end.

"Don't say that! You are beautiful inside and out Maria, and don't worry I'll help you get with Silver" I said.

"Oh my gosh, thanks!" Maria said as she hugged me.

After that I went to dance with Maria, because if I had gotten to dance with Shadow, I would of left her alone. Not that Shadow would of wanted to dance either way. He seemed very entertain by two girls who had come up to him to ask for his number. He said he didn't have a phone (and I was very happy about that, because he lied), but he would gladly accept small talk.

We left early because we had school tomorrow, it was about 10:00 p.m. We decided to go walk in a nearby park.  A few gals joined us in there, like Sonic, Tails and a few other people from other schools.

I was walking with Maria and Rouge, until Rouge decided to walk with Jet. Then Maria left me to go flirt with the guys from the others school. Shadow and I were left behind. He looked deeply in thought. I playfully grabbed Shadow's arm and put it around my shoulder. Even in the dark, I could kinda see him blush.

"Sorry, I'm cold" I said with a smirk.

"It's okay." he shyly smiled.

I could sense he was slightly uncomfortable though, so I took that as an invitation to put my arm around him. I giggled as I could see him tense up even more.

"I'm just joking, I just wanted to get a reaction from you" I explained. Shadow let out a sigh.

"Phew, I was getting a little nervous," he said, sounding relieved. I backed down but walked closely beside him.

"The stars look beautiful tonight," I said looking up. Shadow did the same and smiled.

"I never really had the time to look at them"

"Well, now you can," I said as I looked at him looking at the stars. He looked like he was really enjoying the scenery. After that, we talked about our favorite sights and many other things.

We left and I was really satisfied with the walk. Once I got home, I went directly to my bed and sighted. Could I possibly be falling a little for Shadow? Of course it was too early to decide, but I did have a really good time.

I decided to text him because, why not?

Hi, its amy (:

Hey, what's up?

I was wondering  if  you had a good time today?  (Which was a lie, I just wanted to text to him)

I sure did, thanks. Wby?

Yeah, I did too

Well I don't want you losing any sleep because of me, sweet dreams

I smiled at the text.

With that I went to sleep soundly and hoped that tomorrow was also going to be a great day.
