Chapter 7

-Amy's POV-

I was embracing the hug that Shadow was giving me.

"I don't even now why I am crying , he was such a jerk"

"Its okay, just let your mind off of it"

"It's harder than you think," I said half-smiling. Shadow's mind seemed to drive off into thinking.

"Let me take you out?" he said scratching the back of his neck, a sign on awkwardness. I was surprised by his actions. He's always Mr. Grumpy and he's a really serious.

"Why?" I asked teasingly.

"Because I- I am the one who is supposed to be asking questions here!" he said blushing. Or so I think blushing, maybe my mind was playing a trick on me.

"Wait, right now?" I asked. We still had a few blocks left.

"Yeah, you said that you needed to take your mind of the whole breaking up situation" he said.

"I don't know Shadow, I don't want to skip and then get in trouble," I said. The real reason I really didn't want to go was, because I was scared this date will make my crush for Shadow grow father than just an infatuation.

"Come on it will be fun," Shadow said.

"Where are you taking me?"

"It will be a surprise," he said, giving me a grin. We then headed down to the parking lot. When I saw that we were going in Shadow's motorcycle, my eyes widened.

"There is no way I am going in that thing"

"Aw, why not? Wait- let me guess. Your scared!" He said smirking. That smirk! Ugh, it always gets me butterflies in my stomach.

"What- no, of course not. It's just that I have never been in such thing" I said. Just kidding, I'm hella scared.

"Aw, come on. You got to give it a try. Especially while going really fast down the road, your blood pumps with adredaline. You got to give it some points for that," he said sighting.

"Okay, but don't go real fast please" I said as he handed me a helmet and he took a seat on the bike.

"Yeah, whatever, just get on"

I got behind Shadow. I seemed the get tense and I blushed on how close Shadow and I were.

"Hang on, darling" he said.

Darling?! What the heck, I couldn't help but the giggle at such thing.

Suddenly, the whole thing roared to life, and I found myself hugging Shadow really tightly. I could smell the scent of his cologne and I immediately melted.

"Um- Amy we are here" Shadow said. I blushed and let go. I wonder when we got here, I was so caught up in Shadows smell and daydreaming that I didn't even notice we got here.

"That wasn't that bad" I smiled.

"You were practically droling in my back"

I got red for embarrassment and quickly defended myself.

"I was totally not, don't be so conceited" I smiled as we took a seat in a table.

"I'm not, you literally wouldn't stop smelling me. Don't think I didn't notice you,"

Omg, this is super duper embarrassing. Fortunately, the waitress came right along to avoid me a uncomfortable situation. Thank god.

"What would you guys want to order?" the waitress said, her eyes flirting with Shadow. And guess what?! Shadow was actually flirting with her back.

"I'll have a cheese burger with fries and a coke" I said bitterly. Why am I action like a jelly bean? I shouldn't be jealous, especially because I'm not even on a date with him. Shadow's and the waitress' eyes widened at my order.

"Are you going to eat all that?" The waitress said.

"Yeah, I love food" I said giving her my biggest fake smile.

"Whatever" she mumbled as she wrote the order.

"And you?" She turned around to Shadow and gave him a smile. I couldn't help but to roll my eyes. I guess Shadow saw me, because he chuckled.

"I'll have the same as her" he said and the waitress wrote the order and then left. But before she did , she turned around and gave Shadow a wink.

"He he, she asked me for my phone number" he said with a smirk.

"That's nice" I said dully.

"Say Amy, would you like to be my girlfriend?" Shadow asked. I couldn't help but to choke on my water.

"W-what?! I'm sorry Shadow, but I just broke up with Scourge and I think-"

"No dummy, my fake girlfriend!" Shadow explained. I sighted but I was still worried, why would he want such thing? And why did he chose me?

"Actually, no. Those thing always end up bad. Its either we actually fall for each other or we end up in bad terms." I said.

"Amy please, I need your help" Shadow said. I was surprised Shadow was begging me. There had to be a pretty good reason to this, so I decided to listen to him.

"Okay so the thing is, everybody thinks I'm no good and that my notorius ways will never change. That's were you come in, if everyone can see that I could actually settle down, my parents would be so proud of me. I could see that both of them are very disappointed when I bring in girls every week. They don't tell me though, but I know that because I always see it in their faces. Please help me, I love my parents very much, and I would like for them to see me change" Shadow said.

I was in awe, because Shadow actually had a sweet side and because he actually cared for someone.

"But Shadow, all of that would be fake" I said.

"But they wouldn't know! We could just act, and they could believe it" Shadow said with hope gleaming through his eyes.

"Im not really convinced" I said as I dipped my fries in ketchup and ate it.

"But this plan could actually help you too! You see, it could help you sorta get over Scourge" he explained.

The real reason, again, why I didn't want to agree to this plan is because what will everyone think if they see me dating a player? Even worse, what if I actually feel for Shadow.

"Pleaseeeeee?" Shadow asked.

"Fine! But your going to own me a big favor after this"

"Of course, babe" he smirked.

That stupid smirk.
