Chapter 10

-Amy's POV-

I was soon finding myself regretting coming to school. I was sitting in my math classroom doing a worksheet the teacher had given us, when someone poked my side. I was hoping for it to be Shadow, but it wasn't. It was the ivory hedgehog, Silver.

"Hey Amy," he said shyly. I mentally smirked to myself.

Hmm..maybe I could start my job as cupid now.

"Hey Silver" I smiled.

"Um, I was wondering if you could help me with number 12?" He asked.

No, but I could help you get a date. I wanted to say, but I knew better than to scare him off.

"Oh yeah, the answer is 107.78" I said looking at him look at his worksheet and groan.

"But how?! This is so confusing!" He yelled. I smirked at his frustration.

"You know what? I could help you get a tutor" I said, hoping that he would say yes.

"Really?! I- I mean sure. I really need help with math, it isn't my best subject"

"My friend Maria is really good at math" I said smirking, knowing that Maria was problaby not the brightest in this subject. Oops.

"Oh yeah, she's really nice. I didn't know she was good at math, she never pays attention in English" he said. Of course she wouldn't, she was with her crush, duh. Besides, it's not like Maria would pay attention anyway.

"Oh no, Maria is really good in math, she probably has never failed this class. A+ all year long" I lied.

"Well I'll try to talk to her next block, thanks" he smiled.

Fist bump baby!

The ball rang and I was disappointed Shadow didn't show up. I should text him, after all he is my 'boyfriend'.

Hey Shadow, where were you first block today?

Next up is volleyball. Great, I'm going to see Mina's pretty face talk about wonderful things. Note the sarcasm.

I went to my locker to leave somethings and since I saw Maria, I decided to talk to her.

"Hey Amy, guess what? I'm totally done with school right now! Can you believe I got paired up with Blaze in Physics! I totally wanted to die right there. I just hope English doesn't go to bad" Maria sighed closing her locker.

"Oh trust me, it is" I said smirking. Maria looked at me suspiciously.

"What did you do?"

"It's a surprise" I smiled.

"Amy! Tell me"

"No"

"Please?"

"No"

"Pretty please?"

"Nope" I said popping the 'p'. Maria groaned and playfully punch my arm.

"You'll like it, I promise"

"Fine, bye" she said as she turned to leave to get class. I giggled and then left to my next block.

My phone vibrated and I checked it. It was a message from Shadow. Finally.

I overslept, sorry ;/ I'll see u @ lunch. Bye babe (;

Cocky hedgehog. I rolled my eyes and changed into my sport clothes.

"Amy, I heard a rumor" I turned around to find Mina.

"I appreciate you actually confronting me about it, instead of spreading it. What is it?"

She looked beyond pissed.

"Is it true that you and Shadow are dating?" She asked.

"Um..." Should I say yes? Shadow hasn't actually confirmed it yet. I decide to just tell her.

"Yeah, why?"

She literally looked like she could explode any minute now.

"What?! You know what, you are so spolied! You just broke up with Scourge, what the fuck! And just to let you know, Shadow is a big player. He is going to break your useless heart into little pieces. After he gets bored, he's going to dump you like all the other girls. Then I will have the chance with him, and I am not going to let him go!" She yelled and she stomped away.

I wanted to burst up laughing. Okay maybe I did to a little wrong accepting  Shadow's offer a tad early. But I'm basically Shadow's savior, he will not fake-break up with me because he gets bored.

I smiled triumphantly.

Volleyball was full of Mina's glares, like always.

I also gossiped with Cream, which wasn't gossiping to her, instead it was 'talking'.

So far, I know the latest. I know that Blaze got over Silver, as by a recent tweet that she tweeted a few days ago. I also know that Knuckles and Julie-su will not get back together, because she was cheating on him or something like that. Sonic will problaby ask Sally or Mina out over the course of a few says. Which I find very weird, because Sonic would never date Sally, even though she's a total package. I also know that people are really intimidated by Shadow, I think I know why. But Shadow isn't mean or anything, he just looks very intimidating.

It was finally lunch time, and I happy because I was going to be to see Shadow.

I got to lunch and took my seat next to Maria.

"Amy! What the heck?! I don't even know math!!" She whispered-yelled at me while she looked at Silver talking to Sonic and Knuckles.

"It's gonna be okay, just chill" I said smirking to myself.

"Whatever" she said as she took another bite out of her sandwich.

Just then, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to find Shadow holding a red rose.

"Amy, will you like to be my girlfriend?"
I blushed, the whole cafeteria was looking at us. I wanted to hug and kiss him, but that would of been really weird.

"Shadow, I would love to be your girlfriend" I said smiling. Shadow gave me a hug, and I hoped he couldn't hear my heart beat. Everything was happening to fast.

The whole cafeteria cheered, and I saw Scourge walk out really mad.

"Hey, um by the way, I need you to come meet my parents tonight?"
