Chapter 3

"I have to admit something." I blurted out. "What?" Caitlin asked curious. "Visiting you isn't the only reason why I'm here." I told her. "I want to move back to Central." I continued. "Really? That's amazing!" She squealed happy.
Caitlin and I weren't always friends. When Ronnie introduced us, I disliked her. Ronnie was always so funny and she was always serious. Ronnie always said they were fire and ice, that was true. Shortly after they got engaged, Caitlin and I became friends.
Right now we were watching a movie. "Caitlin?" I whispered. "Yeah?" She asked. "This is the worst movie ever." I admitted. "I know." She laughed. "I met your boyfriend today." I announced. "What are you talking about?" Caitlin asked confused. "Your boyfriend." I said, Caitlin looked at me with a question look. "Barry!" I told her. Suddenly she bursted out laughing. "Barry isn't my boyfriend, silly." She said to me. And I couldn't stop myself from smiling.

"Audrey!" Caitlin called. "What?" I shouted, still sleep drunk. "We are going to Jitters, you want to come?" She asked. "Sure, wait a few minutes." I shouted. I jumped out of bed and grabbed my my suitcase. I took out a ripped jeans and a dark red sweater. Quickly I got dressed and I ran to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and did my make-up. "Are you ready?" I heard Caitlin shout. "Almost." I shouted back. I brushed my hair and ran to the living room. I put on my black All Stars. "Ready to go?" Caitlin asked. "As ready as possible." I smiled.

"Cisco, this is Audrey." Caitlin said to a guy at Jitters. "Nice to meet you, Cisco." I said to him. He stared at me. "You are really pretty." He blurted out. "Thank you, I think." I stuttered. "I'm sorry, that was inappropriate." He awkwardly laughed. "Please don't leave." He quickly said. I smiled and sat down, Cisco seemed relieved. "You work at S.T.A.R labs?" I asked him. He excitedly nodded. "How can I help you?" Iris asked. "Cappuccino for me, please." I ordered. "For me too." Caitlin said. "Normal coffee for me." Cisco said. Iris smiled and walked a way. We sat in silent waiting for our drinks. When she came with our coffee I took a small sip. "Do you have a boyfriend?" Cisco suddenly asked. My eyes widened and I choked on my coffee. I heard Caitlin giggle. "No." I murmured, with burning cheeks. "Sorry, I'm late." Someone said behind us. I turned around. "Perfect timing, Barry. Cisco keeps hitting on Audrey." Caitlin chuckled.
"This is uncomfortable." I muttered.

"So you're from Starling?" Barry asked. "Yes, indeed." I responded. "Why did you leave?" Cisco asked me. "Strange things started to happen." I said softly. "Like what?" Cisco asked interested, he leaned towards me over the table. "A vigilante, the Arrow." I whispered. "Why would someone like that make you leave?" Barry asked almost like he was offended. "I just want a normal life. Central City seems like the right place for me."
