"Here, first one on your left," I said to Barry. I lived in a small house, which I could buy because of the money Ronnie left for me. And even though the house was small, it was exactly what I wanted. It was where I could finally be myself again after a long day. "You'd like to come in and have a drink?" I asked him, I didn't think I asked it because I wanted to be polite. I had missed Barry, but it would be better for both of us if we weren't together. "I'd love to," he said and smiled at me. We got out of the car and I opened the door of my house. "It's funny how a house can show so much of how a person is," Barry said looking at my living room. I shrugged my shoulders. "I only have wine," I said. "That's alright," he answered. I opened the bottle and filled the two glasses. "Here," I said handing over a glass. "Thank you," he said and smiled. Barry always seemed so carefree, even though if you knew about his powers you would think otherwise. He just kept looking at me. I knew what he was waiting for. He was waiting for the right moment to ask why I left. I gave him a small, and slightly awkward, smile and sat down on the gray couch. Barry sat down next to me and put his glass away. "You want to know why I left," I stated looking at my glass while I placed it on the table. "Audrey, I understand why you left," he said softly and touched my hand, "I want to know or you think we still have a chance." I looked in his eyes. They were so honest, every day I talked to people who lied, Barry wasn't like that. "I really don't know," I said softly. In my eyes I felt tears, I wasn't sure if it was because of the alcohol or because of Barry. But even though my answer wasn't yes, his eyes were still hopeful because I hadn't said no either. I moved closer to him and put my hand on his cheek. I softly pressed my lips on his, luckily he kissed me back. It became more passionate, with more desire. My hands went down his blazer and took it off. My hands were at the first button of his blouse when he pulled back. "Audrey, you're drunk and confused, we shouldn't continue," he said softly. I closed my eyes and took a few breaths. He was right, of course he was, he's Barry Allen. "Can you at least stay?" I asked him with a small voice. "Of course," he said, "shall we go upstairs?" I nodded and started walking. Upstairs wasn't big it was one room that was my bedroom and work place. I was looking in the drawer for my pajamas when I heard Barry say:"I forgot to say that you look stunning in that dress."
I smiled and walked downstairs to the bathroom to get dressed. When I got back I saw Barry lying in my bed in his pajamas. I had almost forgotten about the whole super speed thing. I turned off the lights and lied down beside him, as close as possible without actually touching him. He put his arm around my waist and pulled me closer. I felt his lips on my head. "Goodnight," he whispered. "Goodnight, Barry," I responded and closed my eyes.
