*a year later*
A lot happened the past few months. I got a job. It was a shitty job, but it payed surprisingly well. I hired a small apartment. And Barry and I were happier than ever. At least in the first few months. Let me tel you what happened. Apparently dr. Wells killed Barry's mother. The vulnerable looking man in a wheelchair was actually the big villain. Eddie sacrificed himself to protect us. With his death Dr. Wells was erased from existence. But they accidentally caused the Singularity. Which caused the disappearing of my brother. The only good thing the Singularity caused is the dead of Alex.
But the Singularity made me realize that what Barry does is dangerous. They have to sacrifice things every time. And I couldn't risk losing anyone else. So I told Barry that I needed some time. After that I left Central City to have some time for myself. After around a year I moved back. But I haven't spoke to Barry yet.

"Hey." I greeted Grayson at Jitters. "Hey Audrey!" He smiled. He stood up and hugged me. I met Grayson when I started working for his father. We grew pretty close in a short time. And the company recently got a affiliate here in Central. And I was transferred. "Are you looking forward to tomorrow?" Grayson asked me as we sat down. "I'm nervous." I admitted smiling. "You'll do it great. I'm sure." He said. "Otherwise your dad will murder me." I laughed. Grayson laughed too. I liked his laugh. His smile was big and his green eyes showed honest joy. He looked truly happy. "Hey Audrey." I heard behind me. Nervously I turned around. Surprisingly, it was Felicity. "Hey Felicity." I smiled. "What are you doing here?" I asked her. "I could ask you the same question. Barry told me you was gone for months." Felicity said, she sounded like she couldn't believe I had actually left. "The opening gala of the new Donovan Affiliate." I told her. "That's why Oliver and I are here." She said. "Who's your friend?" She asked looking at Grayson. "My name is Grayson Donovan." He said shaking her hand. "Felicity Smoak." She said. "Was Barry happy to see you?" She asked me after it. "I haven't seen him yet." I said. "Oh." She murmured. "I have to go. I'm sure we'll meet again." She said and left. "Sorry." I said to Grayson. "No problem." Grayson smiled. "Hey, would you like to go to the gala with me? I'm sure that dancing and talking to fancy people is more fun than standing at the sideline to see if everything is going well." Grayson asked me suddenly. "Can I do that? Who will make sure that everything goes well?" I asked him. "Audrey, you work so hard you deserve a night off." He said. "Okey then. But you have to wear a black tie to match my dress." I said. "I promise."

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" I asked nervously, we sat on the backseat of his limousine. Grayson seemed completely calm. He sat relaxed in his tux. With a black bowtie. His brown hair was messy as usual. It had pretty much a own will and couldn't be tamed. "You are intelligent and you look stunning in that dress. I'm sure you will fit in perfectly." He said, he looked at me with a half smile. I looked down at my dress. It was tight and short, and it had an open back. "Are you sure this dress isn't inappropriate?" I asked. "You already asked before we left." He smiled. "I'm sorry." I sighed. "You look perfect. Don't worry." He said. I knew I had nothing to worry about. But the feeling that something horrible would happen didn't leave. Slowly the limousine stopped. "Are you ready?" Grayson asked me. "Let's go." I breathed.
