"Can you please stay with me tonight?"
He takes in a deep breath before nodding. "Of course."
"Sorry." She says. "I just really don't want to be alone."
He shakes his head. "No, I get it." He shoves his hands into his pockets. "I'm gonna call Kwan to bring me some clothes for tonight and tomorrow. Do you need clothes too?"
"No, I have some." She says.
He nods. "Okay, well I'm gonna go call him now." He says awkwardly. "Just open the door when you're done washing up and changing so I know."
He walks out and shuts the door behind him. He grabs hold of his chest as his heart begins to pound. After a few minutes of being on the phone with Seungkwan, he sits down on one of the couches and scrolls through social media. Not too long after, Jang-mi opens the door, causing him to sit up.
"I'm done." She says softly, only her head visible to him.
He tilts his head. "Let me see." He says, double checking to make sure she was in comfortable clothes for the night. She steps out of the room. She wore a light blue T-shirt with black spandex underneath. "Is your hair dry?" She shakes her head. "Come here."
"It's okay-"
"No, you'll get sick." He says. She nods before walking over to him and sitting on the floor, in the space between his legs. She tucks her knees into her chest as he carefully unwrapped the towel from her hair and begins helping her dry it. Silence fills the air, which makes her mind cloud with thoughts about the day. "You wanna talk about it?"
"N-no." Her voice breaks.
"Okay." He continues. "Whenever you're ready, I'm all ears."
"Thanks." Not too long after finishing, he sets her towel on her shoulders. Suddenly, she rests her head against his left knee.
"You wanna watch something while we wait for Kwan to get here?" She shakes her head. "A-are you hungry? I can make us..." he pauses, realizing that there's probably nothing to make anything with. "uh, I can order in actually-" He feels as tears flood against his leg. He lets out a small sigh while watching her quickly attempt to wipe them away. He softly brushes her hair back, his hand lightly rubbing against her temple, down to her cheekbone.
"You were right." She says.
"About what?"
"Everything." He looks away, feeling a little guilty, despite being right about his feelings toward Minjae. "I feel stupid."
"Jang-mi-" he gets cut off by the doorbell. She sits up, allowing him to get up and answer the door. Seungkwan hands him a bag with his clothes and shower products inside, and another bag of food and drinks.
"Sorry I took so long, thought I'd pick something up for you guys to eat." He says before shoving his hands into his pockets.
"Thanks hyung."
"How is she?"
Dino sighs. "She keeps crying; and as much as I want her to stop, I'd rather her cry it all out than hold it in."
"Who would've thought, huh?" He shakes his head. "And with Minsoo of all people, like that was definitely a wild card."
"I'm just glad Gyu socked him in the face." He rolls his eyes. "After what he said to her? He's lucky everyone was holding Cheol back."
"He's lucky I held you back."
"Nah, I wouldn't be able to hit him in front of her." He takes in a deep breath. "That would just add to her problems."
