11. Leaving

I sit in the living room with only a white night shirt on. It's a bit more sexier than I usually wear it but since it's Grace birthday, her parents should also celebrate right? I fell the tension between Charles and me the whole day already.

C: All guards are off so are Lisa and Chris.

Charles walks towards me with a smile.

E: And Grace is sleeping like a princess. She's done for today.

I look up from my phone since I checked the news. Charles hands me a glass of wine before he sits down next to me.

E: Today was exhausting but I think good.

I lay my head on his shoulder to cuddle with him. He sees my phone is still on. He takes it and put it on the table.

C: No more news for today.

E: Looks like they're just happy to finally see and meet Gracie.

C: They love her just like her mom.

He pulls me to him to kiss me gently. I turn to him and get more passionate. Charles smoothly starts to kiss my neck as he grabs my boob. I leave out a quiet moan.

E: And her dad.

I grin into the kiss. He pulls me onto his lap.

C: If you wouldn't be my wife already, I would ask you to marry me now.

He looks deep into my eyes. I look a bit confused to him. Where did this come from?

C: I just love you so much and you show it to me everyday.

E: Cha..

C: Sh, it's just the truth.

He puts his finger on my lips. I kiss his finger before kissing him. He takes off his shirt on his own since we're right into it. After we took off the rest of our clothes he goes gently into me. I sit on his lap on the sofa and move my hips slowly. He moas, throwing his head back.

E: Fuck, Charles.

I pull on his hair as he goes deeper. I close my eyes, enjoying the moment to the fullest.

Later we move up into our bedroom to go for a second round. We can't keep our hands to each other. When I even think about that he's leaving for the next race soon again I never wanna stop sleeping with him.

After the second round I lay in his arms. He plays with my hair while I listen to his heartbeat.

C: Do you wanna leave the royalty?

E: What do you mean?

C: I mean, we decided to stay because it's for the best but I saw you. You seem very unhappy the past weeks.

Charles strokes gently over my cheek.

C: I want you to be happy.

I take a deep breath but only to let out a sigh. I was already waiting for Charles to ask me this. He knows me. He knows me better than I do.

E: I was thinking about this, but nothing would change if we leave the royalty. We will always be in public.

C: The royalty is protecting us.

Yes, that's the point. We would loose all the security and guards for our safety. I haven't told Charles that I was threaten when I was a teenager. A lot of people want to get rid of the monarchy or think they could get a lot of money. We could hire any security team in the world. It only works with the palace together. We have a whole team who's making sure we're safe. Ryan is there if our team finds out about it too late.

E: I want Grace to be safe but I also want her to grow up with you, her Dad. You'll already leave next week again.

He smiles softly before he kisses me gently.

C: You'll always be with me - in my heart.

E: You're the best husband and Dad in the whole
world.

I roll onto him to continue kissing him.

C: I never wanna loose you. I love you.

E: I love you, too. So don't worry, you won't get rid of me.
