54. Day on the Yacht

A few weeks have passed. We made sure and I went to the doctor. He confirmed my pregnancy. We told my family and they were happy for us. Not like with Grace.

Today Charles invited his family on his yacht. We wanna tell them.

After lunch on the yacht, Charles leans back and announce that he wants to say something.

C: Guys, Elisabeth and I need to tell you something.

He takes my hand smiling.

C: We're pregnant.

I show up the ultrasound picture. Pascale takes it to look at it surprised. Carla next to her.

P: You're kidding me?

Lorenzo: What a surprise!

He gets up to hug Charles first.

L: Congrats little brother.

Arthur comes over to me to hug me first.

A: That's the sign of love. Told you, you're unbreakable.

Carla: Betty, I love you! Congrats!

She pushes Arthur laughing away to give me a tight and happy laugh.

E: I love you too, thanks for everything Carla!

Carla: You're the big sister, I never had. I'll always support you!

Charles: But it's still early guys, Betty is only 6 weeks, but we wanted to tell you.

A: Wait 6 weeks? Did someone celebrate his first Monaco GP a bit too much?

Charles hit him gently against the arms which makes everyone laugh. Yes, that GP weekend was full of excitement. We all sit down again.

Pascale: Does your family know already, Elisabeth?

E: Yes they had to know because of the royal line of succession.

Carla: Are they okay with it?

She looks at me worried. Arthur laughs while looking to Charles.

A: Charles is still alive so probably better than last time.

Charles couldn't answer as Grace runs over to climb on his lap.

G: Daddy?

C: You okay, mon ange?

He helps her up and looks at her questionable.

G: Swim?

C: Sure, but we need to change first.

He looks to his brothers and they nod as they get up.

Lorenzo: Let's get into the water sweetheart.

I look after them as they leave with Grace. Grace has a good childhood I'm sure even tho it's different for her than other children.

Carla: It's so great to see you smiling like this again. You belong together.

E: Thank you, I'm really happy, that we survived this. I think it made us strong and showed that we truly love each other.

I smile happily.

Pascale: What happened to Louise or better Eleanor now? Any consequences?

E: Yes, every employee got another security checked. August had contact to 10 other employees who helped her. All of them got fired. They are organizing a new security check. But besides that, I'm just glad Grace is okay.
