(i literally dont know what happened in this chapter half of it deleted but im guessing divine got poisned by a plant ect ect)
"There is one solution. Only one," Pan says, his voice serious.
"Okay, what is it?" I ask, growing anxious.
"U-um..." He stutters.
"PAN, JUST TELL ME!" I squeal, panicking.
"Fine. You have to drink from that waterfall over there," he gestures to a distant cave, "It'll cure you from the poison... it cures anything actually. But there's one slight problem."
"What problem?" I ask, narrowing my eyes.
"Once you drink from the waterfall, you'll be stuck here in Neverland forever," he mutters, looking away.
I stare at him in disbelief. "What happens if I leave?"
"You die."
"So, my only options are to stay here forever or die outside Neverland?" I ask, feeling a wave of exhaustion hit me.
"Pretty much," he confirms.
I sigh. "Okay, fine. Take me to the waterfall," I yawn, too tired to argue.
Pan snaps his fingers, and we teleport in front of a majestic waterfall hidden behind a thick layer of vines. He moves the leaves aside, revealing a cave with water flowing down the rocks.
"Wait here," he says as he disappears into the cave. Moments later, he returns with a golden cup filled with the water.
"Drink," he orders, handing me the cup.
I take a sip, and instantly feel the poison leave my body. My hand, once trembling and weak, is now steady and healed.
"Well, that's sorted," I mutter, feeling the strength return to me. Then it hits me—oh no, I left my tent when I wasn't supposed to.
I look at Pan, trying to play innocent. "Now what?"
Pan crosses his arms, glaring at me. "Well, Divine, I did say not to leave the tent. Or did I not?" His voice is stern, and he tilts his head, his eyes narrowing.
"Y-yeah, you did..." I admit, looking down at my hands, trying to avoid his gaze.
"Head up, princess." He lifts my chin with his finger, forcing me to meet his piercing gaze. I whimper softly, nerves crawling under my skin.
"Nervous?" he chuckles darkly.
"If you're so powerful and stuff, why can't you read minds?" I retort, trying to change the subject.
"I'm not a psychic," he replies bluntly, clearly annoyed by my deflection. "Now, come on." He grabs my hand roughly.
"OW, you don't have to hold my hand that hard! You're gonna break it," I whine, wincing in pain.
"I have to. You've been a very, very naughty girl, Divine. And I have to give you a punishment," he says without looking at me, dragging me along. His grip is so tight, it leaves a red mark on my arm.
"Why do you have to give punishments? Can't you just let it go?" I plead, wincing as his grip tightens.
He ignores me as we arrive at the camp, where some of the Lost Boys snicker.
"Told youuuu," one of them sings, but Pan silences them with a sharp shout.
"Shut it," Pan barks, and the boys fall silent.
"Could you let go of my arm? I'm losing circulation," I whisper through gritted teeth.
"Good," he replies with a smirk.
We arrive at a tent that looks like mine, but it's bigger. "This your tent?" I ask, shivering as the cold night air cuts through me.
"You look cold. Let's go inside," Pan says, smirking before his mood shifts suddenly, darkening.
"Why are you so moody? Isn't giving punishments supposed to be fun for you?" I mock, trying to keep the conversation light.
"Don't test me, Divine," he growls, pushing me into the tent.
"OW! You don't have to be so rough!" I complain, but he just scoffs.
"I have to, so you learn your lesson," he retorts.
I sit on the bed, watching him as he grabs a few items from a chest. "Right, let's get this over with. I'm busy," he mutters.
"Get what over wi—" I start to ask, but before I can finish, a sharp pain pierces my side.
"OW, FUCK!" I scream, looking down to see Pan stabbing me with a blade. He waves his hand over the wound, healing it instantly, only to stab me again. This continues for what feels like hours, though it's probably only ten minutes.
"Are you d-done?" I stammer, feeling dizzy from the repeated stabs and healing.
"Yes, I'm done," he says coldly. "Now go back to your tent. Next time, you'll obey me. Otherwise, it'll be worse."
"What could be worse than getting stabbed repeatedly?" I ask, my voice trembling.
"You'll see if you break the rules again," he warns, his tone dark.
I stumble out of his tent, barely able to walk. As I fall to the ground, I realize Pan didn't heal the last wound completely. Pain shoots through my side as I hold it, trying to keep myself steady. The Lost Boys burst into laughter.
"Haha, I didn't think he'd do it with HER!" one of them laughs.
"What on earth are you talking about?" I ask, confused.
"Well, you can't walk. We heard some, uh, noises coming from Pan's tent," one of the boys teases, grinning.
"Wait, what?"
"Dude, he did you hard!" they laugh even louder until Pan storms out of the tent, furious.
"What's all this laughter about?" Pan demands, glaring at the boys.
One of the younger boys hesitantly speaks up. "W-we thought you had... um... done something to Divine."
Pan looks confused. "What?"
"We thought you had sex with her!" one boy blurts out.
"WHAT?!" I yell, mortified. "Why would you even think that?"
"Boys, silence!" Pan orders, cutting them off. "I didn't do anything like that. One more word about this, and you'll regret it."
Pan turns to me and grabs my arm, helping me stand. I'm too weak to walk, so he mutters, "God's sake," before picking me up in his arms.
"Careful," I mumble, feeling his chest vibrate as he sighs.
"Mhm," he hums, carrying me bridal style back to my tent. Exhausted, I rest my head against his chest, listening to his heart race as I drift off to sleep.
Pan's POV:
She falls asleep in my arms, her skin soft and delicate. Her hair falls perfectly around her face, and her lips... so plump and rosy. I touch her cheek, feeling how warm she is. She's burning up.
I enter her tent, carefully laying her on the bed and tucking her in. As I turn to leave, she whispers, "Stay," pulling on my arm.
I sit down beside her and slowly lift her shirt, healing the last wound I'd left untreated.
"All better," I whisper. But she's still burning up. I think she may have a fever.
