I rub my arms, feeling the chill in the air, then grab my clothes to change. After getting dressed, I slowly make my way back to the camp. As I walk past, the boys snicker. "Oof, Felix got you good, huh, Divine?" one of them says.

I can feel Pan's gaze on me, concern written across his face. Sighing, I head for my tent and sit down, wincing slightly. Why did this have to happen?

I feel a lump form in my throat, but I swallow it down quickly. Just as I try to get comfortable, the door opens, and my heart skips a beat. Please don't be Felix... I glance up and see Pan standing there. Relief washes over me.

"You okay?" he asks softly, sitting next to me.

"I'm fine. Why do you care?" I spit out, trying to sound tougher than I feel.

Pan doesn't answer right away. He just sits quietly next to me, as if waiting for me to let down my guard. I can feel him looking at me, his concern evident. Finally, he speaks up.

"I just want to make sure you're okay," he says gently.

I take a deep breath, trying to push the emotions back down. "I'm fine. Just go," I reply, my voice cracking slightly despite my attempt to sound unaffected.

He doesn't leave. Instead, he puts his arm around me, and I flinch instinctively. Standing up, I look at him. "What happened, Divine?" His voice is full of concern. "Was it Felix?"

I hesitate, unsure how to answer. I don't want to say anything that might make him worry more, but it's obvious something happened. His eyes narrow, and I can see the anger building.

"Be right back," he mutters and stands up quickly, storming out of the tent.

I hear shouting, and my heart races. What's going on? Pan's anger—it's dangerous when it's directed at someone. I rush outside to see him standing over Felix, who's unconscious on the ground, blood staining Pan's clothes.

I freeze. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" I scream, horrified.

"He hurt you," Pan says, his voice cold but steady as he wipes the blood from his hand. I look at Felix's lifeless body, feeling my stomach twist.

"Pan... why... why did you have to do this?" My voice cracks as the weight of the situation crashes over me.

"I had to," he says quietly, his face unreadable as he drags Felix's body away. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you."

I stand there, rooted to the spot, trying to process everything that just happened. The boys are watching us, but I can't bring myself to look at them. I slowly walk back to my tent, feeling numb, my mind swirling with what just transpired.

When I finally crawl into bed, trying to shake the day off, Pan suddenly bursts through the door, making me jump.

"Jesus!" I yelp.

"Sorry," he chuckles, clearly not sorry at all.

I roll my eyes. "Could you stop doing that? It freaks me out."

"Doing what?" he smirks, clearly enjoying teasing me.

"Laughing like a maniac," I say, giving him a playful glare.

"Oh, right. Why am I scaring you?" He grins widely, clearly enjoying the moment.

I give him a blank stare, and he mimics me, making me scoff in amusement. "Well, a lot happened today, and I'm very tired. Could you like, go?" I mutter, trying to push him off the bed.

He doesn't budge. "Jeez, what are you made of, steel?" I laugh.

"I'm not going anywhere, love," he says with a wink.

I roll my eyes but can't help but feel comforted by his presence. "Why?" I ask, still curious.

"I'm protecting you," he says with a soft smile. "I'll be right here while you sleep, so no one hurts you."

I sigh, feeling a warmth spread through me at his words. "Okay, whatever. Night."

I curl up under the covers, hoping to get some rest. After what feels like forever, I slowly drift off to sleep. A few hours later, I wake up around 2 or 3 am. I rub my eyes and see Pan still sitting there, his eyes catching the soft moonlight, his hair glowing faintly in the dark.

"Did I wake you up?" he asks softly, his voice like a whisper in the night.

I blink a few times. "Have you got eyes on the back of your head or something?" I joke, my voice still a little groggy.

He chuckles, looking at me with a small, amused smile. "Nah, I just have good senses, I guess."

I yawn, trying not to let my eyes linger on him too long. But it's hard when he looks so peaceful in the moonlight. His presence is calming, but I also can't help but feel a little flustered.

"Right..." I mumble, trying to get my bearings.

"You okay?" he asks, his voice full of concern now. "You look tired."

I shake my head and close my eyes again, embarrassed by my thoughts.

"I wasn't staring at you," he adds quickly, but I catch a blush creeping onto his cheeks.

I laugh softly. "Yeah, sure. Don't worry about it."

He grins, clearly trying to play it cool, but I can see the way his eyes keep flicking to me. "If I'm distracting you, just say so," he says with a playful tone.

I raise an eyebrow. "Oh, you think you're distracting?"

He turns to me, clearly enjoying the banter. "Well, I do have these," he says, flexing his muscles and making me laugh.

"You're ridiculous," I say, nudging him gently with my foot.

"Ouch!" he says, pretending to be hurt, but I can tell he's enjoying it too.

"You're so strong, it's distracting," I say without thinking.

"Oh, I'm distracting now, am I?" He smirks, clearly enjoying himself.

"Ugh, stop smirking," I giggle, shaking my head. I can't keep my smile down.

He leans closer, his face softening as he looks at me. "You know, I don't think I could stop even if I wanted to," he says, his voice a little softer now.

I feel my heart race and cover my face, feeling my cheeks heat up. "Shut up," I mumble, embarrassed.

Pan's grin widens. "Getting flustered? Sweetheart?"

"Shhh, night-night," I whisper, pushing his face away lightly. "Go to sleep already."

I curl up in the blankets, my mind still racing, but the warmth from Pan's presence makes everything feel safe again. Slowly, I drift back to sleep, the tension of the day fading as I let myself rest, knowing that for now, Pan will be there, watching over me.
