Chapter 8: Reunions With The Past

•Abigail's POV•
A/N Finally get to write in Abigail's POV! Excitement!!!
As I'm doing my homework in my bedroom, I hear my sister in law yell, "Abigail! Come downstairs, please!"
Hm. Wonder what it's about this time. "Coming, Elisa!" I bound down the stairs with my thoughts everywhere. Thinking that Elisa would be in the kitchen, I barely stop in time so I don't hit Patrick and Pete. I thought they were in the city. Hm. What's going on? "You needed something?" I ask Elisa.
Pete and Patrick take a step in opposite directions to reveal someone I thought I would never see again. My best friend. Jakayla!
"Heeeeyyy, Aabyyy!" She elongates the vowels like we used to!
"OMG! Jackie!!" I shout.
"Hey, Abby. I missed you so much. Five months is way too long! Give me a hug!" She commands as she holds her arms in front of her.
I give in and give her a Patrick-sized hug.
"Abby why don't you go show her your room while me and your brother make dinner?" Elisa suggests.
I look over at Jackie before I yell, "LAST ONE UP THE STAIRS HAS TO BE A TOUR ROADIE!"
I take off up the stairs and slam into the wall at the top before sprinting down the hall to my room. I do a flying squirrel jump onto my bed just in time for Jackie to do the same right on top of me. We collapse into a pile of giggles.
"So what's up?" She asks as we untangle our body parts.
"Not much. Just hanging around here. Waiting for your to start again. Oh! And playing with baby Declan!"
"Ahh! How adorable is he in person?"
"More than in the pictures!"
We squeal in synchronization.
"Girls? Everything okay?" Pete asks.
"We're good!" We yell in synchronization.
"So why are you here?" I ask.
"Guess!" She squeals. It must be something important.
I gasp, "Did Pete adopt you?!?"
"Nope! Even better!"
"What could be better than Pete Wentz adopting you?"
"Pete is my brother!!!!" She screeches.
"Really?" I squeal.
She nods at about a hundred times a minute.
"PETER LEWIS KINGSTON WENTZ THE THIRD!" I yell. "GET YOUR BUTT UPSTAIRS! NOW!!"
I hear running coming up the stairs and down the hall towards my room. The door flys open.
"What's wrong?" Pete asks, out of breath.
"When were you going to tell me that Jackie and I are practically sisters?" I calmly ask.
"So that's what this is about?"
We nod.
"When we tell Elisa that I found Jakayla and she's my sister. And... You both are coming on tour!" He says excitedly.
