Chapter 11

All the animals looked at the witches and wizards standing in front of them, but they bowed down to her once again when they saw Mildred. The centaur stepped forward

"My name is Aviana, and this is my husband Thelk and these are our friends Atticus the Pegasus, Zephyr the thunderbird, Seraphina the sea dragon, and Apollo the water horse, and we are the companions chosen to help Mildred with her task to protect witches and wizards." Aviana said.

Everyone smiled at them and started to introduce themselves as well.

"I'm Miss Ada Cackle, Miss Pippa Pentangle, Miss Hecate Hardbroom, Miss Dimity Drill, Miss Maria Tapioca, Miss Gwendolyn 'Gwen' Bat, Mr. Algernon Rowan-Webb."  Ada said pointing to the teachers.

"These are our other teachers Miss Emmeline Proctor, Miss Isla Farrington, Miss Lucretia Black, and Miss Narissa Osborne." Ada said.

The Great Wizard looked towards the animals.

"I'm the Great Wizard, and these are my associates Miss Celestina Boswell, Miss Honoria Hewitt, Miss Maise Doughty, Miss Rowena Redferne, Mr. Gideon Murrell, Mr. Nicholas 'Nick' Hutchins, Mr. Tarquin Burroughs and Mr. Zacharias 'Zach' Wardwell." The Great Wizard said.

Everyone gathered around to see what they could do about Agatha and Miss Gullet. When they felt magic in the air, they looked over and saw Mildred sitting down with a spell book in her arms, looking through the book. They all walked over to see what spell made Mildred pause. They saw that it was a binding spell. Mildred looked it up. 

"We could use this binding spell and bind her magic so she can't do any more harm." Mildred said.

They looked at each other and nodded their heads in agreement. Mildred, Hecate, Pippa, Ada, the Great Wizard, and all the teachers went back to Cackles. They went into the staffroom, and Mildred looked in the spell book again with Hecate beside her, and to everyone else in the room, it looked like they were discussing something between themselves.

Mildred got up and kissed Hecate on the cheek and left the spell book on Hecate's lap before leaving the room. Hecate stood up, put the spell book on the table, looked out the window, and saw Mildred sitting down on the ground using her magic than saw that Mildred made twelve amulets. Mildred then picked up the items, stood up, and rushed back into the staff room, where she picked up the spell book and put the items onto the table.

"Is it alright with you guys and girls if you can help me put a protective spell on these items? And if I can put a couple of spells on you too?" Mildred said.

Everyone looked at Mildred.

"Yes." Everyone said.

Mildred then showed them the protection spells for loved ones and an amulet and a mind link. Mildred handed everyone their amulets.
