Mac woke up the following morning with discomfort in his back and pain in his pelvic area. He got out of bed, got dressed, and headed to the kitchen to get a drink of water. Upon entering the kitchen, he saw Bozer.

"Good morning, Mac," greeted Bozer.

"Hey, Boz," Mac replied.

"How are you feeling?" Bozer asked.

"I'm alright. My back is achy, but I'll manage," Mac answered.

"Can I get you anything?" Bozer offered.

"Just some water, please," Mac requested.

Bozer went to the fridge to fetch Mac a glass of water.

"Here you go," Bozer handed the water to Mac.

"Thank you," Mac expressed his gratitude.

"You're welcome. Has the baby been active lately?" Bozer inquired.

"Not really, but at night, yes, very active," Mac replied.

The next morning, Jack woke up and realized that Mac was not in bed beside him. He got up, made the bed, and got dressed. Jack walked out of the bedroom and found Bozer in the kitchen, while Mac was relaxing on the couch.

"Hey, good morning, Jack," Bozer greeted.

"Morning, Boz," Jack responded.

Jack approached Mac, who was sitting on the couch.

"Hey," Jack said.

"Hey," Mac replied.

Jack placed his hand on Mac's belly.

"How are you feeling? Anything?" Jack asked.

"I'm in a lot of pain," Mac admitted.

"Where exactly?" Jack inquired.

"In my lower belly; it hurts on both sides," Mac explained.

"Okay, well, we have to go to work, so it's only going to get worse," Jack stated.

The pain became unbearable for Mac, and he started to cry.

"I'll give you some painkillers before we leave for work today. Alright, but I won't give medicine on an empty stomach," Jack assured.

Mac nodded in agreement with Jack's statement.

Bozer asked if Mac wanted some strawberries.

"Hey, do you want some strawberries?" Jack asked Mac.

Mac desperately pleads for relief from the excruciating pain that is tormenting him. Jack, understanding his boyfriend's suffering, suggests a course of action - eating, taking painkillers, and staying active - in the hopes of alleviating the pain. Mac acknowledges Jack's advice as Bozer presents him with a plate of strawberries. Grateful, Jack thanks Bozer, who wishes Mac a speedy recovery.

Mac expresses his gratitude before following Jack's instructions to eat and then take the painkillers before heading to work.

As Mac begins eating the strawberries, Jack places his hand on Mac's belly, searching for any signs of the baby. Jack questions if the baby is sleeping, to which Mac responds affirmatively. Finishing the strawberries, Mac takes the painkillers provided by Jack. The group then makes their way to the Phoenix Foundation, where Riley, Bozer, and Cage gather around Mac, placing their hands on his belly.

Riley confirms that the baby is indeed asleep, while Bozer admits he can't feel anything. Cage playfully reminds Bozer that he won't be able to feel the baby until it's active. Mac agrees with Cage's statement.
