"Hey." Maya smiles gently at the beautiful Italian who opens the door.

"Hey, coming in."

Carina puts on a small smile and walks into the kitchen, taking out the plates.  "You must be starving."

Maya follows and helping to set the table, "Yeah, live training is always fun and feels good to beat the best record."

Seeing how excited Maya is, Carina shakes her head lightly with helpless smile.

She's getting to know how much Maya loves fire and how important being a firefighter to her.

"Is it really fine that you don't go to Joe's with 19? You can go celebrate with them. I don't mind to take a rain check." Carina turns to take out forks and water glasses from the drawer.

"Of course. They told me to have dinner with you." Maya says nonchalantly while unwrapping their dinner from take-out container.

The Italian frowns and her smile drops.

"What's that?"

Maya doesn't know what Carina means. She tilts her head up and sees the unpleasant look on Carina's face.

"What's what?" Maya asks with confused look.

Did I do something wrong? Or what I just said?

Why she...

Just when Maya was still thinking what she had done, Carina suddenly rushes into bedroom.

She hears the sound of door hits the wall hard.

And the sound of throwing up.

The blonde firefighter quickly runs into the bathroom and storks Carina's back up and down to comfort her.

And then pulls Carina's hair up and ties it into a ponytail, "What's wrong?! You caught stomach flu?"

The sick Italian tilts her head up and catches a breath while flushing the toilet.

"...I've been sensitive to smells since yesterday. I think it's morning sickness."

Maya fills a cup with water for Carina.

"Why didn't you tell me? I wouldn't get you something with strong smell like Thai food."

"I didn't know that I'd throw up like this. I was fine yesterday, and I really wanted to have Thai food this morning."

"I'm sorry that you can't eat the food you like." Maya sits on the ground and keeps stroking Carina's back. "Can I get you anything else?"

"I'm not sure if I can eat anything without throwing up." Carina grumbles.

"Is pizza too much for your stomach right now?" Maya asks softly.

Carina nods with frowns. "I guess." And then she throws up again, but nothing comes out.
