CORMAC could feel his blood rushing in anticipation that he could feel his body burning. Nararamdaman niya ang matinding pamamawis ng kanyang katawan hanggang sa may kung anong kuryente ang dumaloy patungo sa kanyang ari na nagpatauli rito nang bahagya.

Fucking hell! Kung maari lang maglaho ng parang bula ay ginawa niya na kanina pa. Hindi siya mananatiling nakapako sa harap ng pinto at patuloy na parusahan ang sarili gayong batid niya ang epekto ng estrangherong babae sa kanya.

Well, he supposed the woman was not so estranged anymore now that he knew it was his personal driver's wife. Surely, he would meet her any minute now... not unless he would turn away and leave.

Slowly, Cormac took back his hand and made up his mind. But then he got mad at the thought of being terrified of someone.

He was Cormac Castellano, a well-known businessman and one of the few who became successful CEOs at such a young age, a vintner who had a huge vineyard and estate. The one behind the famous Castellano Wines, so he doesn't need to fear someone.

Why would he even fucking fear someone?

"Diana, please... nasa ospital tayo," tugon ni Mike para manliit ang kanyang mga mata sa kinatatayuan. "At saka hindi mo ba nakikita kung anong sitwasyon ko?"

Mas lalong nanliit ang mga mata ni Cormac bago niya naikiling ang ulo sa pagkadismaya. If he were in Mike's position, he would gladly take the opportunity without hesitation right there and then. Jump on her and satisfy her desires even though he would end up having another knee surgery or worst end up being cripple for life. Damn, he doesn't even need to be asked just to reach that luscious heaven.

He was ready to do it all even if she remained a mystery. 

Even though he had not laid his eyes on her.

And that was the most frustrating about it. He wasn't Mike to do that part, he was his boss, and they were different in so many ways. For the first time, he envied a man because of his woman. It was the most stupid thing he could ever feel for himself after reaching where he is now.

"I'm sorry... I thought you feel better if I-"

"It didn't," sabad ni Mike para tumaas ang kanyang mga kilay sa kawalang paniwala. "Paparating na ang boss ko kaya dapat tayo maghanda. We need to behave ourselves."

Nanatiling walang imik ang asawa ni Mike hanggang sa narinig niya ang papalapit na yapak. Hindi na siya nagkaroon ng oras para makahuma kaya naman wala na siyang nagawa kundi maestatwa nang madatnan siya nito sa pinto.

Saglit itong nagulat sapagkat nagbago rin agad ang reaksyon nito nang makilala siya. She gave him a blank stare and then proceeded to squint her eyes in his direction as if he had done something inexcusable.

The only thing he could respond to was by staring at her so speechlessly and adoringly. Because she was more beautiful than he thought. Much more daring than he expected after just hearing her voice.

Diana had the most piercing hazel eyes he had ever seen, paired with a lovely straight nose and sensual plum lips. Her mid-back length hair had a hint of brown with perfect little waves. With a face that was so harmonious, she indeed looked unreal, and for a moment, he thought she was a siren ready to lure him to the seas of no return.

Mike's wife was definitely the kind of woman others should not be messing with. And that threat doesn't excuse him.

Intimidated, Cormac opened his mouth to speak, but a fascinated voice cut him off.
