DIANA had to admit that she was surprised after what the CEO did, a little anxious even that he was standing so close to her. But the thing that surprised her the most was the fact that Cormac looked so handsome up close.

Ngayon niya lang napansin kung gaano katangos ang ilong ng binata at kung gaano kahaba ang pilik-mata nito.

Nang biglang bumaba ang tingin niya sa mga labi ng binata ay agad na napakurap-kurap si Diana, bahagyang nataranta nang sandaling makaramdam siya nang kagustuhan na damdamin ang labi nito.

That was the most terrible thing she could wish for as a married woman and she hated herself for that, especially when Mike was probably waiting for her at their house as how the CEO reminded her.

Subalit sa kabila ng kagustuhan na lumayo rito ay walang ginawa si Diana kundi mapagmasdan ang napakaguwapong mukha ng binata.

Cormac is indeed a charismatic and healthy bachelor and whoever he will end up with will be fortunate. At least, physically, that is for sure. She wasn't so certain if it would be the same emotionally given his unkind approaches.

"Mike..." bulong nito at panandaliang huminto, tila ba nag-isip kung ano ang sunod na sasabihin. Nakita niya kung paano ito lumunok nang malalim at mariin na pumikit. For the third time, she caught him sniff in the air before he looked at her straight in the eye, refusing to look anywhere other than her eyes. "He was probably wondering where you are right now. You should go home, Diana."

"Mrs. Flores," pagtatama niya rito at tinagpo ang malalim nitong pagtitig. "It's Mrs. Flores for you, Sir. I don't recall us being close for you to call me by my name."

Cormac gritted his jaw before he gave her an incredulous look. "All right, Mrs. Flores, I understand. Please send me my regards to your husband."

"Sure, Sir. I will do that," kaswal na sagot ni Diana nang maalala ang masasakit na salitang binitawan nito kanina. "Good bye."

Cormac's eyebrows shot up and opened his mouth, but it seemed like he couldn't find a word to respond so he closed his mouth and turned his back on her.

When he was at the threshold, he looked at her over his shoulder with a sultry grin.

"You know what, if I were Mike, I would probably get mad knowing you are not around home at this time of day. I would probably lose my mind," anito sabay tuluyan nang lumisan.

Sandali itong naging palaisipan sa kanya bago siya napaismid sa pagkairita gayundin ay pagkalito. Why would he say something like that?

Pailing-iling si Diana sa tuwing maalala niya ang sinabi ng CEO hanggang sa nakarating siya sa bahay pasado alas siete na tila hindi maintindihan ang kahulugan ng tugon nito. 

Exasperated, she gave one snort before going straight to the kitchen. Doon ay nakita niya ang asawa na kumakain ng hapunan na natirang niluto niya kaninang umaga para sana sa tangahalian nito, ang adobo.

"Ganitong oras umuuwi si Sir Cormac kapag linggo, tiyak na nasalubong mo siya," bati nito sabay sumubo ng kanin at ulam.

Pinilit na hindi magpakita ni Diana ng pagkadisgusto sa harap ng asawa kaya napatango na lamang siya. "Tama. Nasalubong ko nga siya."

Mike's face lit up and a smile immediately creased on his lips. "Talaga? Anong sinabi niya? Binati ka ba niya? Pinuri dahil maganda ang performance mo? Sure akong binati at pinuri ka non, mabait ‘yon, eh. Sir Cormac doesn't forget to praise and show his appreciation to his employees."
