Dear Jades,
After a long hiatus from Wattpad, I woke up one day wanting to write erotic romance again. But then I said to myself I want to write something new, something that is not light but also not dark. So, I settled on Grey Romance (which sub-genre I made myself for this type of story) and wrote the RISQUE series.
Actually, the previous series and title was different (Jades who read it from early August 2024 knows) but then it didn't settle right because I realized the series name was quite common. So I changed it and now I am satisfied with RISQUÉ.
This grey romance, it suddenly occurred to me out of boredom (please call it grey romance from now and support me on this! HAHAHA) thinking I want to write characters that are not perfect and I guess a little relatable?
As a hopeless romantic who looked up to married couples in real life, I always see them being happy together but I think there is more to marriage than it seems. And infidelity is one of the factors why marriages fail. I am not enabling infidelity, it's just that I wanted to show the effect of infidelity on marriage.
Surely, this is going to be frowned upon, but I kept doing it anyway and test the waters. (As of now, I haven't gotten any rude comments or canceled posts and I hope I don't. But if I ever I will receive one in the future, I guess I'll have to welcome them with open arms because that is beyond my control).
I need readers to be open-minded and also have awareness, that's why I write GREY ROMANCE like this. Diana and Cormac are my comeback characters who saved me from my Wattpad dump. They pulled me back in. And as much I love writing a few special chapters for Jades to enjoy, I am thinking of releasing it in a physical book (IF the Risqué Series is going to be published) with untold parts in between chapters I published here on Wattpad.
An Epilogue and a bonus chapter and Forbidden Temptation ends. Already? Yes, that's right! Because I have no plan on dragging this story, torture my characters, and waste your time. Jades from 2020 know that if I publish the 'Letter to Readers' chapter, the book is near to its finish. (Kindly leave a comment and follow me if you reach this far by the way.
