Me, casually messing around with Luna's character AI*
Luna: Now, bark for me
I---😳😳😳 I think a glitch happened here...The same night (Y/n) couldn't fall asleep. She tossed and turned in her bed, trying to relax as the rest of her team slept soundly, but nothing worked. The girl silently groaned and sat up on her bed to look at the digital clock on the wall.
'It's just 23:30?! It has barely been over an hour since sleep time started?! This is hopeless, I can't fall asleep at all.' She thought and as quietly as possible got out of her futon.'I will just walk around for a bit, maybe that will help.' She sighed and walked out of the door as the team stayed blissfully oblivious to everything.
'Now that I am alone, I can try to think of some formations for the match against Team W. Maybe the monitor room isn't locked and I can come up with some ideas.' (Y/n) hummed as she made her way there, not noticing a figure following her close behind.
'Why is he up so late? Never mind, this is the perfect opportunity for me to talk to him more.' He thought, following after the oblivious player.Later...
"Hmmm..." (Y/n) muttered as she stared at the scattered papers. For the past hour she tried to think of all the possible formations that could work for them, so far she figured that 2 formations could work the best for them.'Especially since our defense isn't the strongest. I think I should stick to either formation 4-2-3-1 or 4-5-1. We can have plenty of defensive stability due to the combination of a back four and two central defensive midfielders. But, I need to keep in mind that in order to stay compact and organised, a lot of communication is needed between each section of the formation. And two of us midfielders need to always be on alert when the opposing side has the ball in their possession. Meanwhile, the other system would allow us to cross the ball from wide positions. But, there will be a lot more pressure on Barou to score a goal, since he will be the lone striker here, and even if I or another midfielder try to help him too much, it could cause us issues with the gaps.' She hummed in frustration, trying to think which option to pick.
"Maybe the first-"
"Why aren't you asleep?"Gasping in shock, (Y/n) put a hand over her heart and looked at the door, only to find Isagi staring back af her in concern.
"Isagi? Why are you not asleep? And how long have you been here?" She raised an eyebrow. The boy cleared his throat and walked into the room.
"I couldn't sleep, and I haven't been here for too long. I just hoped you would be awake so I can talk to you."
"Hm? With me?" She blinked in confusion and pointed at herself, earning a nod from Isagi.
"Sure, here." She quickly moved the papers away and made room for the boy to sit down on the futon.
"Why are you not asleep, tho? The game today was really tiring, to say the least." The boy said as he sat down."I just couldn't sleep. Adrenalin is still doing the most." (Y/n) chuckled nervously as Isagi grabbed one of the papers and read through it.
"You like planning formations?" Isagi asked as (Y/n) nodded her head.
"It's very relaxing to me. I like thinking of the different ways I can crush the opponent, but also finding the weak spots of my own team that we can improve." She smiled as Isagi nodded along.
"Sounds like you are a real football nerd."
"And you aren't?"
"Not as much as you are." Isagi laughed while she joined him. It was then quiet after a while, with (Y/n) going through her list and Isagi observing her."Say..."
"Hm?" The girl hummed as she looked up at Isagi.
"You said you didn't feel excitement over football in a very long time. Was that true? Or did you just say that for no reason?" Isagi asked, genuinely curious how a player like (Y/n) wasn't excited over football.
'Someone who wins and wins. How is he not excited? If I, someone who lost gets excited, how isn't he?'
"It's true." (Y/n) spoke up as she put her paper down.
"But, how? Don't you constantly win?"
"I wouldn't say constantl. That's too much. But, what I said was the truth. For year, football was more like a means to an end to m. Itt felt more like chore. I loved playing it when I was younger, was excited to be on the field, but that slowly died down. The best way I can describe it is like you are physically there, but your soul isn't." (Y/n) explained, looking straight into Isagi's eyes.
