Pro tip for some of the Blue Lock fathers: If you loved your sons enough, you would look way hotter.
Notice how Issei Isagi is the only good-looking father in this manga. That's peak male performance right there!!

Also, Mr. PIFA president is kind...

The next day (Y/n) had left the room long before the alarm went off. She was too excited about the upcoming match that she woke up a lot earlier. The girl quickly got ready and ran out, making sure not to wake any of the other four up.
'Time to practice! Time to practice! I need to impress Cavazos, Luna, Blake, and Silva!' She chanted to herself.

With Ego...
The black-haired man sighed as he looked at the screen, watching in amusement as the girl ran through the hallway towards one of the empty training areas. It was pretty early for her to be awake now, and as he was to turn his microphone on to tell her to go back and sleep, Anri interrupted him.
"Ego-san, how much do you actually know about (L/n)?"

The man flinched at the woman's question, but really, should he be surprised she asked him this? Ego isn't the kindest person, at least to his peers it looks that way. Even Anri sometimes commented how cold he is to everyone. So, when she saw him look and speak to (Y/n) in a much softer way, she was startled, to say the least.
'What are you hiding from me?' Anri raised an eyebrow as Ego cleared his throat and looked away from the monitor.
"Nothing more than what you have told me."

"I know that's a lie. Just spit it out. It's not like I will tell anyone." Anri said in a much softer tone now, watching as Ego took off his glasses to pinch his nose.
"Alright, but promise not to tell this to anyone. Not even (Y/n). If anyone should tell her this, it should be me."
"Alright. I promise." Anri nodded her head, sitting down across from Ego.
"You know how I told you I have no contact with my family anymore?"
"Yes. You said you didn't see eye to eye on some things. What does that have to do with (Y/n)?"

There was a short silence between the two, Anri watched in worry as Ego figeted around before speaking up.
"Well, years ago, I cut contact with them because of (Y/n)... You must know, she is my older brother's only child, and my only niece."
"What?!" Anri yelled in shock, not expecting to hear this answer.
"You... Are you kidding?"
"No, I am dead serious. She is my niece."
"Then, if you knew who she is, why did you agree on inviting her here? And why are her parents saying she is a boy? What is your brother doing?"

"It's not my brother's doing. It's someone else's. You see, my brother, along with my sister-in-law, died in a car crash around 9 years ago. At the time, I was in Germany and didn't get a chance to leave for the funeral or see how (Y/n) was doing."
"But wait! How does she not remember you?"
"That's the thing. At the time, she was in the car as well, and although she survived, she did suffer from amnesia. I see she still doesn't remember me." Anri wasn't used to seeing a lot of emotions on Ego's face, and the saddened look on his face definitely made her do a double-take at the man.

"Anyway, when I finally had the chance to come to Japan again, she wasn't with my parents or one of my other siblings. They have given her to an orphanage. I would have adopted her myself if only I knew in which orphanage she was at the time."
"So the people who are her parents on paper-"
"Aren't her real ones, no. I honestly don't know why this is going on. (Y/n) herself was always happy in her skin. She likes football, yes, but would never deny dressing up as a princess for a tea party. Trust me, I know. I had to dress up for them as well."

Anri held back a laugh at the image of Ego in a princess costume while a smaller version of (Y/n) was serving him tea. She really wished she could have seen this.
"So, that's why you aren't in contact with your family, i understand. But do you plan on telling her who you are? Is that why I allowed her to stay here?" Anri wondered, earning a short nod from Ego.
