Chapter 14- Sasuke and Sakura: friends or foes?

*Naruto's pov*

-Huh? What are you doing here Naruto? This isn't for dropouts! You can't be here unless you graduate- stated Shikamaru.

I looked at him and smirked.

-Oh yeah? Do you see this? Do you see this?- I said pointing at my forehead- Open your eyes Shikamaru, it's a regulation headband! We're gonna be training together! How do you like that?

-Hm.

-Let me put it to you this way. I look great in this headgear, like it was made for me. Believe it!

Suddenly I could hear stomping on the floor like if someone was running...

The door to the classroom opened violently to reveal Sakura and Ino pushing againts each other.

They stopped for a second to catch their breath.

-I won again, Sakura!- shouted Ino.

-Give it up! I had to look back to see you! My toe was atleast a ten of an inch ahead!- said Sakura.

-Have you always been this delusional?- Ino continued.

Then I saw a dark-haired girl enter the classroom.

I blushed.

-Ruri-chan- her name resonated in my head in a dream-like voice.

She turned around and looked at me.

-She's smiling at me- I thought- I think she likes me in this headband....

-O-oh Ruri-chan!- Sakura said when she noticed her- I didn't see you there... Would you mind if I sat next to you?- she said while blushing.

-Back off forehead! I'm sitting next to Ruri!

-I was here first!- Sakura whisper-yelled at Ino.

-I walked into the classroom before you did! Everybody saw it!- shouted Ino.

-Dream on!

-Actually, I got here before either of you!- yelled some random girl.

-So did I! I'm sitting next to Ruri!- shouted another.

-No I am!

-That's enough.
Everyone turned their heads towards Sasuke.
-She's sitting next to me.

-No, I'm sitting next to Ruri!- I thought.

Ruri laughed awkwardly.

*In the Hokage's office*
*3rd person's pov*

-Most promising new student, Ruri Uchiha..-said Kakashi.

-Is that her?

-Yes, she's the one.

-She's the second survivor left from the Uchiha Clan..- stated a kunoichi with long black hair and red eyes.

-That's right- replied the Hokage- don't forget that her identity is an s-class secret.

-Does she know?- asked a man with black beard.

-Yes- Hiruzen stated.

The crystal ball then showed a boy with blond spiky hair.

-Naruto Uzumaki, huh?- murmured Kakashi.

-I can't stand it! He's gonna steal Ruri from me!- I thought.
