Chapter 12- Sorry, Sasuke

Even though I copied Neji's gentle fist style, and use it quite well with my knowledge of every tenketsu point's location, I can't unlock it to full potential because of my lack of byakugan. I mainly copied it and trained it so I could help Hinata, but I think I overestimated my competences.

Before I ran away from home, my mom gave me some scrolls of the Uchiha Clan's jutsus. The one I was grateful for was the body flicker. Shisui was the person feared mostly because of this technique. Since we had some days off the Academy, I decided to learn it.

After some time, I was able to move to a short distance.

-I did it!- I shouted in delight.
Then I felt a presence behind me.

-Again?- I thought-Who is it this time?

-Come out! I know you're here!

A black-haired boy walked slowly towards me.
-Who would have thought.. Sasuke Uchiha- I stated.
-What are you doing here?

-I came to.. apologize.

-So you're apologizing?- I repeated.

-Yes, I'm sorry.
I furrowed my brows.

-Apology accepted. Now leave.
I turned away from him.

-Wait!

-What?- I asked, boredly.

-Why do I feel like we've known each other before?- he asked.

I widened my eyes.

-I don't get what you mean- I lied.

-We clearly have a connection, why can't you see that?

-What?- I asked, confused.

He put both of his hands on my shoulders and looked me in the eyes. I saw sorrow and lonelieness in them.

-Please- Sasuke retorted.

-Please what?

-Please stay.

Suddenly I could feel him hold my hand.

-Sasuke, let go- I said firmly.

He only gripped it tighter.

-Let. Go!- with new found strenght I pulled it out of his grasp.

Sasuke widened his eyes. He probably didn't expect I would be this strong.

I was pissed, but when I saw Sasuke's face..

I put my index finger on his forehead.
He looked at me astonished.

-Sorry, Sasuke. Maybe next time..

-Huh? Sakura?
The said girl ran up to me.

-I-I was thinking...

-Yes?

-COULD YOU TEACH ME WHAT YOU DID TO NARUTO?- Sakura shouted, clearly embarrased.

-You mean when I healed him?- I inquired.

She nodded quickly.

-Well.. Sakura.. if you want to learn medical ninjutsu you've got to have knowledge of the human body first- I stated.

-Human anatomy! Got it!- she said
-B-by the way, would you maybe like to hang out for a little bit?

*Sakura's pov*

The thing is I really am interested in medical ninjutsu, but the main reason I went up to Ruri was to spend time with her...

-Sure- Ruri replied.
