Chapter 21- Battle on the bridge- Zabuza returns!

*3rd person's pov*

-Good morning everyone- Sakura said while yawning. She lazily walked up to the dining room table where everyone was already seated. When she sat, Tsunami- Tazuna's daughter, came up to her and gave her a bowl of food.

-Here- the woman said.

-Oh, thank you!- the pink-haired girl replied.

Sakura then looked around, as if searching for someone.

-Does anyone know where Ruri-chan is?- she asked, worried a little bit- Oh Naruto. I didn't expect you to be here. I thought you were out all night training again.

-I was- the blond boy groggily muttered- but Ruri-chan made sure I slept inside.

-Then where is she?- Sakura repeated impatiently.

-She came down early today- Tsunami said- I wanted to give her breakfast but before I knew it she was already gone.

Sakura furrowed her brows.

-Don't you worry Sakura- Kakashi interjected- Ruri's a full-fledged ninja. Wherever she is I'm sure she can take care of herself.

Suddenly, Sasuke stood up from the table.

-Sasuke?- Sakura started.

-I'm going out for a walk- the dark-haired boy muttered.

-But, we just started eating!- the rose-haired girl replied, turning to look at his plate to see it already empty.

The sound of a door closing echoed throughout the room.

-Goodnight Naruto- I smiled- Sleep tight.

-Goodnight Ruri-chan- Naruto replied, already closing his eyes.

He must still be tired from all this training...

I closed the door to his room and made my way to the one I shared with Sakura. I silently walked inside careful not to wake her. I layed down and closed my eyes, letting sleep overtake me.

-Hey! Ruri! Look what I can do!- I heard a boy's voice shout.

I walked up to a young boy with brown hair and dark eyes to see him manipulate water, and then freeze it, forming some kind of an ice ball.

-That's so cool!- I exclaimed- Teach me! Teach me!

-O-okay. Well, all you have to do is focus on bending water by your hands, and then imagine it freezing.

I kneeled down next to the boy and focused my palms on the water. The liquid slowly made its way to my hands.

-Wow!- I shouted- I did it! I did it!

-Great!- the boy praised me- Now, try to freeze it!

-O-okay...
I waited patiently, careful to not spill the liquid. After some time, it started turning into ice.

-Amazing!- I looked at the freezed water in my hands.

The brunette chuckled.

Then, we both heard a crunching sound from behind us. We turned around to see a beautiful woman with long black hair and eyes, wrapped tightly in a warm coat. She looked at me sternly as wind and snow blew her bangs back.

-Mom? What is it?- I asked.

-We're going back, now- she said, void of any emotion.

-B-but..- I started.
