Author's pov:

As the car journeyed towards the Singhania mansion, Anshika sat beside Ashwin, her attention captured by the glow of her phone screen. She scrolled through messages and notifications and few emails of her work, a faint smile playing on her lips as she relished the memories of the day's events. Meanwhile, Ashwin, seated beside her, was immersed in his laptop, his focus trained on the screen as he attended to some urgent work emails.

Viyaan, occupying the passenger seat, couldn't resist the opportunity to lighten the mood with a bit of playful teasing. With a mischievous glint in his eye, he turned to Ashwin, a smirk playing on his lips.

"Hey there, workaholic!" Viyaan exclaimed, his tone teasing yet affectionate. "You know, I've heard that it's customary for the groom to pay attention to his bride on their wedding night, not bury himself in work!" Viyaan teased, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Don't tell me you're already buried in work on your wedding night! You know they say marriage is about compromise, but this is ridiculous!"

Ashwin, caught off guard by Viyaan's teasing, couldn't help but chuckle at his brother's antics. "Very funny, Viyaan," he replied

Ashwin, caught off guard by Viyaan's jest, felt a surge of irritation bubbling beneath the surface. Though he couldn't deny the truth in Viyaan's words, he couldn't bring himself to admit the real reason behind his preoccupation. Instead, he forced a strained smile and replied, "Very funny, Viyaan. Just tying up some loose ends, that's all."

Meanwhile Anshika was still busy in her phone but the smile faded away when she heared the lack of interest on Ashwin's voice.

Anshika replied "I would be good if you won't forget that you are married now!" while taunting him.

Ashwin's forced smile faltered for a moment, a flicker of discomfort crossing his features before he quickly composed himself. "Of course,," he replied, his tone strained. "Anshika You know I wouldn't forget about you."

As the car continued on its journey, the atmosphere inside was tinged with a sense of unease, each occupant lost in their own thoughts and emotions. Anshika, despite her efforts to maintain a cheerful facade, couldn't shake the feeling of apprehension that lingered in the pit of her stomach. She couldn't help but wonder if Ashwin's apparent disinterest was merely a result of the day's hectic events, or if it was indicative of a deeper issue between them.

Viyaan, ever the astute observer, sensed the tension in the air and decided to steer the conversation in a lighter direction. "So, Bhabhi, how does it feel to officially be a part of the Singhania family?" he asked, his tone casual yet curious.

Anshika, grateful for the change of topic, brightened at the question. "It feels surreal, honestly," she admitted, her voice tinged with a mixture of excitement and uncertainty. "But I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone better and starting this new chapter of my life."

Viyaan nodded in understanding, a reassuring smile playing on his lips. "Don't worry, Bhabhi," he said, his voice warm and reassuring. "You're already a part of the family, and we're thrilled to have you here. Just give Bhai some time to come around. I'm sure he'll warm up to you soon enough."

Ashwin ignored viyaan's words. As if he didn't listened anything.

Anshika offered a grateful smile in return, comforted by Viyaan's words of encouragement.
