kisi ke liye kisi ki ahamayit khaas hoti hai,
aur ek dil ki chaabi doosare ke paas hoti hai.

ada hai, khvaab hai, takaseem hai, tamaasha hai,
meri in aankhon mein ek shakhsh betahaasha hai.

Ashwin's pov:

As I ended the call with my family, a sense of relief washed over me. Seeing everyone alright and in good spirits eased some of the tension that had been building up inside me. However, my mind kept drifting back to the picture that Vikram had sent me.

With a sigh, I unlocked my phone and opened the message from Vikram once again. The image of Anshika in the meeting hall filled the screen, her confident demeanor and poised posture catching my attention. Despite the apprehension lingering in my mind, I couldn't deny the admiration I felt for her.

Staring at the photo, I couldn't help but marvel at Anshika's resilience and strength. She seemed so composed and in control, a stark contrast to the chaos and uncertainty swirling around me. In that moment, I felt a surge of pride and gratitude towards her, knowing that she was holding down the fort back home while I navigated the challenges in London.

But beneath the surface, a nagging sense of unease persisted. The fact that Vikram had somehow obtained a picture of Anshika raised questions that I couldn't shake off. How did Vikram know about Anshika? And more importantly, why was he sending pictures of her to me? No one knows about her! Not even media! but how come Vikram knows about this?

As I scrolled through my phone, my thoughts drifted to the past encounters with Vikram. Memories of our previous confrontations flooded my mind, each one leaving a bitter taste in my mouth. The animosity between us ran deep, rooted in betrayal and deceit.

Closing my eyes for a moment, I took a deep breath, trying to steady my racing thoughts. I knew I couldn't afford to let my guard down, especially with Vikram lurking in the shadows. But amidst the turmoil and uncertainty, one thing remained clear – I would do whatever it takes to protect my family, no matter the cost.

As I stepped out of the shower, the cool droplets of water clinging to my skin, I felt a sense of renewed focus wash over me. With a quick towel-dry, I hastily made my way to the meeting room, where Yuvan awaited, ready to tackle the challenges that lay ahead.

As the meeting commenced, I found myself immersed in the intricate details of the negotiations, my mind fully engaged in the task at hand. Every word, every gesture, was carefully calculated, as I strived to convey an air of confidence and professionalism.

With Charles at the helm, the discussion flowed smoothly, each point addressed with precision and clarity. Despite the weight of responsibility resting on my shoulders, I remained steadfast in my resolve, determined to secure a favorable outcome for all parties involved.

As the meeting drew to a close, I exchanged a firm handshake with Charles, a silent acknowledgment of our mutual success. The atmosphere in the room was palpable, filled with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.

Yet, amidst the jubilant celebrations of my colleagues, I remained curiously subdued, my thoughts drifting to the challenges that still lay ahead. Despite the outward appearance of success, a nagging sense of uncertainty lingered in the recesses of my mind, a reminder of the obstacles that awaited me on the road ahead.

But for now, I pushed aside those doubts, choosing instead to focus on the present moment. As I exchanged pleasantries with my colleagues, a small smile tugged at the corners of my lips, a testament to the satisfaction of a job well done.
