Anirudh steps out of the house , his polished black suit fitting him like a second skin. The white shirt underneath contrasts sharply, emphasizing his confidence. His movements are deliberate, each step echoing anticipation. As he approaches the waiting car, he adjusts the cufflinks, a subtle gesture of preparation. His eyes, hidden behind dark sunglasses, betray nothing, yet they hold a glimmer of excitement. The car door opens, and he slides in smoothly, the leather seat welcoming him.
Anirudh sits in the car, his heart pounding with a mixture of nerves and excitement. He gazes at his reflection in the window, adjusting his tie one last time and straightening his posture. "Okay, Anirudh, you can do this," he whispers to himself, his voice betraying a hint of uncertainty.
As the car glides through the streets, Anirudh's mind races with thoughts of Bondita. "Bondita...," he murmurs, the name rolling off his tongue like a whispered prayer. He imagines her smile, her laughter, and the way her eyes light up when she's excited. "I hope she likes where I'm taking her," he muses, a nervous flutter in his stomach.
Anirudh fidgets with his cufflinks, his fingers tapping anxiously against the armrest. "What if I mess this up?" he wonders aloud, a furrow forming between his brows. He takes a deep breath, trying to quell the rising tide of nerves. "No, I've planned everything perfectly. This will be the night best night for us."
Anirudh's mind buzzed with anticipation as he drove, thoughts of the upcoming date with Bondita swirling in his head. Lost in his own world, he imagined their evening together, picturing every detail down to the smallest gesture.
Suddenly, his reverie was interrupted by the ringing of his phone. An unknown number flashed on the screen, causing him to hesitate before answering. "Hello? Who is this?" he asked, his tone guarded.
"It's me, Tulika. Binoy uncle gave me your number," came the voice on the other end.
Anirudh's expression soured slightly at the mention of the call . "Oh, okay. So, why did you call? Do you want something?" he replied, his voice tinged with annoyance.
Tulika's voice sounded earnest as she responded, "Anirudh, can we just talk for a while?"
Anirudh's frustration grew, and he rolled his eyes, muttering under his breath. "Oh, please. I already told you, I'm not interested in marrying you. so please" His irritation was palpable as he spoke, his tone sharp with impatience.
Tulika's voice sounded urgent as she spoke, "It's really important, please understand. I just wanted to talk, that's it."
Anirudh's irritation flared, his patience wearing thin. He rolled his eyes in exasperation and snapped, "I don't want to!" Without waiting for a response, he swiftly ended the call, his frustration evident in the abruptness of his actions.
