Chapter 4- Staying For Good

(Mia's P.O.V.)

It's been three weeks since you've been staying with the turtles in the sewers. They even gave you your own room. Your training had been going well. Master Splinter says it's been going so well that soon you'll be able to choose a weapon. Everyone was happy for you except Raph. You getting a weapon ment that soon you'd be able to go out on patrol with them.

"Why don't you think I can handle a weapon?" You asked Raph. "Cause you're not ready." He replied. "Why aren't I? Even Master Splinter says I'll be ready soon." "I just don't want you getting hurt." "I'll be fine." "How do you know!?" Raph said raising his arms in anger.

"Because I do!" You left the lair to go home. Hopefully your parents out would be happy you've come home for once. You entered through the door to see your father cooking and your mom setting the table. She dropped a plate as she watched you walk through the door.

Your father turned to see you and he didn't look happy. "Where have you been!?" You weren't ready to deal with this again. You thought they'd be happy to see you but no. You turned to walk out and slammed the door behind you.

I guess the turtles'll be stuck with me forever since my father will never just be happy to see me. You thought while returning to the sewers. You were still mad at Raph but you'd get over it. He was just worried about you. The lair was quiet which ment the brothers were out on patrol.

"Mia." Master Splinter said from the dojo. You walked and knelt in front of him. "Yes Master Splinter?" "It is time for you to choose." You knew what he meant as the two of you walked over to the weapons wall. "Choose." Master Splinter said gesturing to the weapons.

You looked but only one caught your eye. It was a red tessen. "I think we found my weapon." You said picking up the tessen. "Your training begins now." Master Splinter said. You two trained until you heard yelling. You two went towards the yelling to see Raph and Leo fighting.

(Raph's P.O.V.)

"They wouldn't have got away if you didn't rush in without a plan!" Leo yelled at me. "No they wouldn't have got away if you hadn't stood around thinking of a plan!" I yelled. "That is enough my sons! To the Hashi both of you!" Master Splinter yelled. Leo and I weren't happy. "This is your fault Raph." Leo said.

"My fault!?" I asked. "Every time we are in the Hashi it's because of you." Leo said. "Whatever." We went to our positions in the Hashi. Neither of its talked as Master Splinter and Mia walked around us. I couldn't help but stare at her.

I lost my focus by looking at Mia so much. I fell on to the ground. Mia laughed a bit. Her laugh was amazing. "Why did you fall Raphael?" Sensei asked. "I was um..." I tried to think of an excuse but I couldn't. "I was checking out Mia." Mia blushed after I said that. "I see my son. You are dismissed as well as Leonardo."

We all left the Hashi. I remembered that Mia left earlier. I meant to ask her where to. "Hey Mia." "Yes Raph?" She asked. "Where'd you go earlier?" "Oh I went to my parents house. My dad just yelled at me. He didn't even seem happy that I came home. I don't know if I ever want to go back." Mia put down her head and turned away from me. Her hair covered her face.

I could tell she was trying to hide the fact that she was beginning to cry. She couldn't though. I wrapped her in a hug from behind. She seem shocked at first as she jolted her head up. After a bit though she wrapped her arms around one of mine and rested her head on my upper arm.

"You don't ever have to go back if you don't want to. You can stay here...with us... if you want." I said trying to comfort Mia. "I'd just be a burden." Mia began to loosen her grip on my arm. I turned her around to face me. I lifted her head up by cupping her chin.
