Chapter 18- Topside

(Mia's P.O.V.)

You and the guys were all in the dojo to see how far Beth has come over the years. She was fourteen and you and Raph were ready to let her go to the surface if she was. "Are you ready?" You asked as the two of you got into your stances. "I was born ready." Beth said. The two of you charged at each other you with your tessen and her with her katana. She's been practicing a lot with Leo.

Beth swung her katana but you ducked dodging it. You threw your tessen but missed. Beth came at you and swung again this time almost hitting you. You ducked but slipped a bit and fell to the ground. Beth took the chance pointing her katana at you so you couldn't get up.

"Well done Beth. Now are you ready to face your Uncle Michelangelo?" Master Splinter asked. "I've been ready for years." Beth said. "Do I have to? She's been kicking my shell since she was seven." Mikey said complaining. Master Splinter nodded and Mikey got ready to lose.

(Mikey's P.O.V.)

Man Beth is gonna kick my shell! She already took down Mia why do I have to fight her? I thought as I got ready. I took out my nunchucks and started twirling them around as Beth faced me and smirked. She is way to much like Raph like seriously!

Beth charged at me and I rolled out of the way. I got back up and she charged at me again. I held out one if my nunchucks and her blade got stuck in the chain. I pulled her katana away only to be kicked in the plastron while I wasn't paying attention to Beth.

I fell to the floor with Beth standing over me. "I win again." Beth said. "Yep you win now it's Donnie's turn. Have fun Don." I got up and scrambled over to the others. "Here we go." Don said walking into position.

(Don's P.O.V.)

Oh shell I'm dead! I thought as I took out my bo staff. I took a deep breath and waited for Beth to charge at me. She charged and I held up my bo staff blocking her katana. I pushed her back but she just came at me again.

This time I swung my bo staff at her. Beth slid to her knees and went under my bo staff. She was behind me and kicked my shell before I had a chance to react. I fell face first to the dojo floor. "Ow." I muttered as I got up. Hitting the ground hurt almost much as hitting the ground after a fight with Raph. "Raph's up." I said walking over to my brothers.

(Raph's P.O.V.)

I walked over to Beth ready to fight sort of. I don't really want to beat her but I don't want to go easy on her either. I wasn't even paying attention and I was on the ground like that. I didn't even realize what just happened. I looked over to my brothers to see their mouths hanging wide open.

"Dad you didn't even try." Beth said crossing her arms. I got up and shrugged. "Hey I wasn't ready." I said. "Sure you weren't." Beth said scoffing and then uncrossed her arms and walked over to Leo. "Your turn." She said poking his plastron. I could see the fear in his eyes.

(Leo's P.O.V.)

My turn...already! She took down Raph like it was nothing! I thought as I went over to Beth. I unsheathed my katana and so did she. I could tell she was nervous and was trying to focus. I was nervous to I mean after watching her take down Mikey, Don, and Raph I'm scared.

"Don't go easy on me like a certain someone did." Beth said glaring at Raph. I nodded and then it started. I charged at Beth and swung my katana at her. She blocked it with hers. Our blades were pressed up against each others. Beth put one of her hands on the edge of her blade adding more force.

I would've done the same but my blade was to close to me and pushing on it wouldn't help much. I backed up taking my blade off of Beth's making her stumble forward a little bit. I took the chance and kicked her shell making her fall to the ground.
